05.01.2022 Green from Red Here at Love Lemon Myrtle our trees are grown on Ferralsols, the red soils of Tamborine Mountain. This soil was created over 20 million years ago... during the last volcanic eruption. It has wonderful structure, is rich in organic matter and has an iron content over 9%. Legend has it that these soils are a healing place for women, probably due to the fact that human blood contains hemoglobin, iron rich protein in red blood cells.
