25.01.2022 Has there ever been a time in your life where you felt God was not close? Are you listening God? Are you there? Can you hear me? Why are you not answering m...e? There are times in my own life where I wondered; even doubted, if God was listening or near. In some Christian circles we are almost discouraged from expressing our concerns and doubts. It can be an implied message that if you doubt, you don’t have real genuine faith. Maybe over the past 6 months, during all the C-19 mayhem, you felt God wasn’t near. Maybe you doubted God’s involvement or goodness? If you have doubts, message me today and I will pray for you (and with you if you like). See more

10.01.2022 The family and friends of Kevin Baills are deeply honoured and moved by your kind words, messages of comfort and your attendance at the memorial service in Thursday 22 April. Many have described Kevin as a great man and those words are indeed correct. The Mt Walker Church family also knew Kevin as a man of great faith and his legacy and impact will be felt for generations to come. On behalf of the family, thank you.

09.01.2022 Habakkuk has received the news that the Babylonians had come to invade the land. It was almost more than he could stand. Things weren’t heading in the directio...n he had hoped. The already tough times just got tougher. His body was a wreck. The fruit trees and crops had failed. There was no livestock. Nothing was heading in the direction he had hoped; yet Habakkuk was still able to rejoice in the Lord. Many people (maybe you) are living in a tough time right now during the C-19 pandemic. Politically our nation is a mess. We can’t trust the news or dare watch all the trash that is happening around us. Many are without jobs, people are loosing their homes and struggling day by day to find food. Divorce rates are at an all time high. People are living with intense, unbearable, unimaginable loss. Times are tough. Yet in these tough times; like Habakkuk, we need to stand firm and rejoice in the Lord. We need to remember that God is Good! Sometimes it’s through our struggles and trials, during those terrible things in our life that we grow closer to God. In the middle of all your pain and struggles you can choose today to trust God and break through to a new level of intimacy with Him. See more

07.01.2022 Happy Thanksgiving. Read Psalm 136. God was faithful and loving to the nation of Israel. The psalmist expresses praise for who God is and His goodness to the...m. He is praising God for creation, their deliverance out of Egypt and through the wilderness into the Promised Land. With each praise that is expressed, the people respond with His love endures forever. God is pleased when we we acknowledge who He is and how He has blessed us (Heb. 11:6). Spend time today reflecting over the many ways God has been good and faithful to you and your family. Then pray and Thank Him for those blessings. See more
