25.01.2022 WE ARE OPEN. Please note the clinic will be still open for consultations during the lockdown. We are available every day except Sundays for Consultation: Matt Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat and Johlen Tuesdays and Thursdays. We ask that you follow the following requests to maintain safety: 1. Please re schedule appointment if ill, undergone test without results, or come in contact with someone who has been positive of COVID-19 in the last month. 2. 22.01.2022 After clarification from dhhs, Mt Waverley Chiropractic Centre will be open for care. Due to Stage 4 restrictions and in the interest of public safety, we will be treating those who need urgent care or are eligible to receive care. We will contact our patients in order to discuss eligibility for care during this time. 17.01.2022 WE ARE BACK With the lifting of restrictions we can now see all our patients face to face for all health concerns. We will still have our Covid safe rules in pl...ace: 1. 17.01.2022 Mt waverley Chiropractic would like to introduce our newest Chiropractor Johlen Raath. Johlen will be working Tuesdays and Thursdays at the clinic dealing with all health and rehabilitation issues. Dr Johlen’s keen interest is in the biomechanics of movement and neuro-orthopaedic rehabilitation. He is currently undertaking a specialised course in this field to further his knowledge on acute musculoskeletal sporting injuries, chronic pain conditions, and the relationship betw...een the body and the brain. Dr Johlen works within the scope of evidence-based treatment methods of Chiropractic, Ultrasound Therapy, Soft Tissue Therapy, Rehabilitation (including prescribed exercise programs). He emphasises the importance of rehabilitation and how it can make changes in the brain to restore optimal health. With his own personal experience of Chiropractic care, Dr Johlen’s goal is to regain proper function of the body, pain-free. He does this by providing gait (mode of walking), foot and posture analysis to identify underlying causes of pain or injury that need to be addressed. This allows him to directly treat the cause of the issue rather than just the symptoms, resulting in better management of pain and preventing reoccurrence long term.

03.01.2022 Due to the introduction of Stage 4 restrictions and the uncertainty of what it means for Allied health, Mt Waverley Chiropractic Centre will be closed for the remainder of this week at this stage. We apologise for those who were unable to get in before these restrictions but in the interest of public health we made this decision. We will have more information regarding the short term future but it may involve a referral from a GP for care. We will updat you on available times in the coming weeks for urgent or referred cases. Your health is important and if you have any questions or worries please contact the clinic and Matt will return your call.

02.01.2022 Mt Waverley Chiropractic Centre would like to Congratulate Dr Peter Rome for his Fellowship with the ACA. Peter was the original owner of the clinic and a true Chiropractic asset. Matt was fortunate enough to take over his successful practice. Peter has gone on to write numerous Papers that have been published in a vast number of Publications. Congratulations Peter.
