25.01.2022 Have just received the fantastic news that our client, Burnett Livestock and Realty has been successful in their Regional Jobs and Investment Packages application for a $1.2M grant for a redevelopment of the Biggenden Saleyards. Congratulations Stephanie and Lance - it was great working with you on this application for a fantastic project that will return a multitude of benefits for the region.

17.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS to Lance and Stephanie Whitaker of Burnett Livestock and Realty on the recent grand opening of the Burnett Livestock Exchange at Biggenden. MTW Consulting assisted Lance and Stephanie in securing a $1.2mill grant through the Federal Government’s Regional Jobs and Investment Packages that, combined with their contribution, saw a significant $3.47 mill investment in the redesign and redevelopment of the former Biggenden Saleyards. The Burnett Livestock Exchange now has the capacity to accommodate a throughput of more than 2000 head per day, a 43% increase on previous capacity. 16.01.2022 ACCELERATE SMALL BUSINESS GRANTS PROGRAM Round two of the Queensland Government's Accelerate Small Business Grants Program is currently open. Matched funding of up to $10,000 is available to help eligible small businesses engage business mentors/coaches/specialist consultants or an advisory board for a six to twelve month period.... Funding is available to small businesses that are financially sound and can demonstrate high-growth and employment aspirations. The program will remain open for applications until the budget is fully allocated. 08.01.2022 Please see below a great opportunity to tap into some business growth funds, through the Accelerate Small Business Grant program, closing March 27. This will be the last round for this program, which will then be replaced by a new, expanded program called the Business Growth Fund. Under the new program, funding of up to $50,000 (excluding GST) may be provided to eligible businesses to purchase and implement highly specialised equipment or services to enable the business to mo...ve to the next stage of growth. 05.01.2022 BUILDING BETTER REGIONS FUND (BBRF) Round 3 of the Australian Government's Better Regions Fund (BBRF) is now open. $200 million is available, with up to $45 million of this funding earmarked for tourism-related infrastructure projects. BBRF is designed to create jobs, drive economic growth and build stronger regional communities into the future....
