17.01.2022 The State Government has announced a 6 day lockdown. Our office will be closed but we are still contactable by phone on (08) 8447 1779, email [email protected] or mobile. 14.01.2022 The MUA and Svitzer Australia have been engaged in EA negotiations for almost 12 months. Svitzer seeks to effectively obliterate Union conditions won over the past century. Svitzer MUA members have had enough and are taking the only option left for them to encourage Svitzer to bargain fairly, reasonably and sensibly. Svitzer members nation wide will be engaging in Protected Industrial Action tomorrow Friday the 13th of November. Members in Port Adelaide and Port Pirie will begin a 24 hour stoppage as of 12.01am.

13.01.2022 We support SA Power Network workers taking Protected Industrial Action tomorrow! SA Power Workers are fighting for a fair go in their enterprise agreement campaign. Despite continuing to provide our community with an essential service (electricity) and delivering healthy corporate profits in the face of the COVID pandemic - their employer is seeking to cut wages and undermines job security by creating a two tiered wage system for enterprise agreement employees. Same Job, Less... Pay NO WAY. Support those who support you by standing in solidarity Thursday 6th May 1:30 pm at Keswick CEPU SA, Australian Services Union SA + NT Branch, Professionals Australia AMWU - Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union

12.01.2022 Eighteen months ago Australia supported the adoption of the International Labour Organisation’s Convention on Violence and Harassment (C 190), which recognises every worker’s fundamental right to be free from all forms of violence and harassment at work, including gender-based violence and harassment. To date, the Morrison Government hasn't budged in ratifying this as a Federal Law. All Australians deserve better! All Australians deserve a workplace free from violence and har...assment. Sign this petition to show your support. https://www.megaphone.org.au//ratify-ilo-c190-violence-and

10.01.2022 Matt Leach, delegate on the RTM Wakmatha sent through his kind words of solidarity to Svitzer members in their fight to protect hard won wages and conditions. Cheers RTM Wakmatha! Bunch of legends! If we don't fight, we lose!

08.01.2022 Today we remember the people who lost their lives fighting a war that was not their own. Lest we forget.

08.01.2022 Anyone who visited the below locations during the listed times must self-quarantine immediately for 14 days and seek testing. It's important for all South Australians to remain vigilant at this time. To protect yourself and others and help stop the spread of coronavirus: Practice good hygiene like covering coughs and sneezes and wiping down surfaces.... Stay 1.5 metres apart whenever and wherever you can. Stay at home if you are unwell. People are encouraged to get tested for COVID-19 as soon as symptoms appear, however, if you have not been to any of the locations listed by SA Health in the recent Parafield Cluster, do not have any COVID-19 symptoms and have not had any contact with people with COVID-19 or COVID-19 symptoms please reconsider the need to queue today and get tested in the coming days.
