Register for Mental Health First Aid training. It’s free, you will receive and internationally recognised certificate, and gain some confidence in chatting with someone who may be struggling. Mental Health First Aid Description: This two day MHFA training workshop to equip you with resources to help someone ...developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis until professional help is available. This workshop helps participants learn how to: * Help people in the early stages of mental health problems * Recognise the signs and symptoms of these problems * Know where and how to get help * Understand what types of help are effective DATE: Wednesday 1 & Thursday 2 November, 2017 TIME: 9:00am - 4:30pm VENUE: Room 180, Level 1, Building 902, Berwick This event has a limited capacity of 35 students.
