24.01.2022 Hmm mud glorious mud. #muddamspottery is going wild again. Slaking clay for days before seiving. I am looking forward to seeing how the colour comes up.

21.01.2022 Gees Louise, what a cheeky chicken. She has no respect for brand new mud. The upside is the kiln is nearly half way... #ceramics #electrickiln #pottery #tamsininamania #mudamspottery #firingatlast #tassiemade #tassiesober #handmade #handmadeintassie #tasmaniamade #handmade

16.01.2022 Interesting. Another ancient craft.

15.01.2022 She's a heating up nicely. My very first bisque firing since never, and in Dave's shed. Soo excited to see how she burns and hoping the kids fat bowls don't crack. Bo has a bowl dated 2017...longest runming project ever. Or maybe not, I've probably got other projects stashed away. #ceramics #electrickiln #pottery #tamsininamania #mudamspottery #firingatlast #tassiemade #tassiesober #handmade #handmadeintassie #tasmaniamade #handmade

12.01.2022 Awww. I love this. A recycled keyring from a pair of bees gloves, with an added raku fired bead, lead and taught by @catezayonsclay. Polished up nicely before firing twice. It's mine, it's precious. #madeintasmania #raku #woodfiredbeads #keyring #tamsininamania

12.01.2022 Two survivors, the rest lost their heads. I need to work on a better slip, with less bubbles and shrinkage. #tamsininamania

11.01.2022 Its getting closer... not really but I'd like to dream.

04.01.2022 Our very first glaze firing, flirting with many unknowns. Fired upto a set temp of 900 C, we got very mixed results. Especially having no idea of what type of ...glaze or clay we were using. Upto 3 years ago we made some of the pots and finally found some time and place to try it all out. Before and after pics of a single labelled bottle of 'Peacock Greek'. No idea of firing temp of glaze or of firing kiln temp. But this semi worked. We were very happy to learn heaps on how to apply a glaze, not long enough dipped or brushed or poured and too long... Interesting colour that 'someone' had mixed. To be continued... #mudamspottery #gottastartsometime #2020goals #potteryunknowns #pottery #madeintasmania #tassiesober #tassiemade #tamsininamania

02.01.2022 Hmm more mud, the same mud, sieved twice. Now I have run out of molds to deduct the water. So now I have decided to dry the lot first as suggested by a friend. I will bash it down when its dry and start all over. It's a beautiful clean cream white colour. #bringonsummer hoping the heat stays for just a little while. #mudamspottery #madeintasmania #wildclay #ihopethisworks
