25.01.2022 And were done for the season. It was a bit of a short one, but that's apples for you. We have some Strumers and Pink Ladies left today, and Grannies as always. Thanks for sharing our season with us.

24.01.2022 We're all out of apples. It's true. That came around a lot quicker this year, mainly because you've all been such amazing customers and kept coming back to buy more. Thank you for that. We'll be back in February 2020 - see you then. It's cidering time for us.

23.01.2022 This is what Peak Gala looks like. Come get some tomorrow, don't mind the attack dog. #Smithfield #AppleWarden

23.01.2022 It's an idea whose time has come. See you tomorrow, isolationists. No need to get out.

22.01.2022 This healthy young man is looking for some ladies in the snow to rescue. He'll be at Muddy Creek Apples tomorrow, where we have loads. Come say hi.

22.01.2022 This week, all your Winter Cole pear dreams come true. Also, Braeburns are on the board, Jonagold and Golden Delicious are peaking and maybe some sneaky early Fujis will drop in. No promises though.

20.01.2022 That's all apple fans. Well, almost. Last of the season Sundowners, Sturmers and Granny Smiths will be in the shed tomorrow. Followed by eight months of apple anxiety. Time to get stewing.

18.01.2022 Finally, we are fully contactless. Bring all your cards, we are now even more Covid-proof. Drive-thru apples this week include such hits as Pink Lady, Braeburn, Fuji, Golden Delicious and Granny Smith.

15.01.2022 In: Cox's Orange Pippins, tomorrow. Be early, they'll go fast. Out: Our marketing team. This is just juvenile.

15.01.2022 One more week - at least. If you're buying Gravensteins now, they don't taste like Gravensteins. We MIGHT have half a day's worth next Saturday before we go Full Gravenstein the week after. Pls ignore the "open today" details Facebook and Google pretend they can't let me change. I'll keep you up to date, promise.

12.01.2022 Apologies for the non-fruit related post, but you all seem like lovely people and my son really, really loves Cataract Gorge. He's chosen to do a project to find out who else does too and is leaning on me to use my considerable influencer status to help him. No pressure, but if you click the link it will only take four minutes. And let me know, so I can add a free kilo to your first order when the season kicks off again. Thank you. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WLKCLS3

12.01.2022 Yep. There should be plenty to go round this year. Stay tuned, fruitsters.

11.01.2022 PINK LADIES. We also have PINK LADIES. They jumped us during the week and now we have to sell them while they are white hot. Yes you read that right PINK LADIES, one day only, this Saturday.

10.01.2022 An oldie but a goodie. The Sturmer Pippin grove we started grafting three years ago is finally online. Premium cooker, next level eater for the true believers. We'll have some tomorrow, plenty next week.

10.01.2022 And we're open, 9am tomorrow, with Gravensteins and William Bartlett pears. And Paul, who's manning the shop and taking all the flack for me about the price rise. Cheers Paul.

08.01.2022 Coming home strong in the second half of the season like the Swans will, no doubt. Joining the all-star line up are the spectacular Braeburns, cooking prince Sturmer and Croftons Yes Croftons.

07.01.2022 That's the first Fujis of the season there. Picked at 8.40am, on sale today. Now, in fact.

06.01.2022 The gif that gives, every year. See you tomorrow for Pink Ladies, Jims and Sals.

06.01.2022 Forgot to add, stock up everyone, we're taking a small break next week.

04.01.2022 Yeah, nah. Not enough for a grand opening this week, sorry. If you absolutely can't wait, this lot are for a soft launch at Alps&Amici, East Launceston. We're there all week. Ish.

02.01.2022 I had a rubbish day yday by using a circular saw on my fingers instead of wood. Yes, I waited at the LGH, but it was worth it just to hang out in theatre with an amazing group of much younger than me geniuses. Thank you for making me feel like I was a bit part in Netflix's hot new medico drama. Your first to third ciders are free, Bridie Lee and co, coming soon.

24.12.2021 Today's Something Different: Quinces! And winter cole pear season is open.

21.12.2021 We are back, and this time for good. Well, a couple of months. It's a royal gala frenzy, starting tomorrow, 9am. Sorry for the wait.

09.12.2021 There is some good news to come out of our last post about how we can't open this weekend. Facebook didn't like the "adult" nature of our picture of an apple and wouldn't boost it. So here's the update again, with a SFW pic of the apple farmer trying to digest that news at 6am: We have some distressing news. You may have noticed it's been a bit chilly this week in the valley. Not only does that mean it hasn't been warm like a proper summer should behave, but our Royal Galas and COPs aren't ready. Sorry, we're closed this Saturday. THANKS TASSIE SUMMER. Seriously, we simply don't sell apples that aren't at their absolute best. We'll be back and in full swing on Saturday, March 6. And won't stop until July. Promise.

20.11.2021 Yes, we will sell out of apples early today. But we'll be good for next week and full production thereafter. Here's a peas offering if you miss out - we're doing veg this year. Also, the pears and nashis are EPIC.
