06.01.2022 So we are nearly all back to pre-COVID restrictions yay! Here are some photos I have been meaning to show you. Out and about in the community; enjoying the outdoors; a virtual 21st Birthday, listening to singing at Eloquesta winery, learning how to cook and loving life!!... Thanks again to our amazing support workers who are putting in big hours and making so much difference in the lives of participants. Our support workers have been organising new furniture for participants and helping to assemble and install; hemming curtains, hanging curtains; organising and sorting wardrobes; cleaning homes for rental inspections; ensuring our participants have warm clothing, hair cuts, medical appointments, home cooked meals and a safe place to stay just to name a few things. Thank you MDSS Support Workers from all your participants and families that have reached out to us to say how wonderful you all are, and what a difference you are making!

They are providing a wonderful service for vulnerable members of our community and we thank these very special people. If you are an experienced disability support worker with a Cert III or IV in disabilities or willing to work towards one, and you have great availability, please forward your resume to [email protected]. 02.01.2022 Bill was lucky enough to be invited by Manly to participate in pre match activities for the Sea Eagles verses Titans match at Glen Willow Stadium. Bill was presented with a 2021 Manly jersey, shook hands with both team captains and did the coin toss for the game. Bill watched on as his team won 36-0, and was then able to shake hands with some of the winning players after the match. This was an amazing opportunity offered to Bill by Manly that we were so happy we could facilitate. Bill was joined by many of his friends from MDSS who cheered on Manly for the win!
