25.01.2022 Junior hockey is ON today. If it pours with rain well rethink but at this stage we should be right to play. Please remember NOT to come if you or your child are at all unwell or if youve been to any Covid hotspots in the past 2 weeks (ie most of Sydney ) . Also please remember we need to keep social distancing on the sidelines and limit spectators to one parent/guardian per child. Thanks for your assistance with this, it means we can keep playing safely

Spectators please remember physical distancing, one parent/carer per child, only come if you and your child are completely well and havent travelled to any hotspots in the past 14 days. 25.01.2022 Two more sleeps until Junior Hockey starts A few points to remember are: * please stay home if you or your children have been unwell in the past 14 days, are waiting for results from a COVID test, have travelled to a hotspot area in the past 14 days . * spectators are limited to one parent/guardian per child. * players and spectators need to sign the attendance register , sanitise hands then follow the instructions regarding entry/exit . Arrive early to allow time fo...r this. * children need to arrive ready to play (shinpads on, mouthguard ,stick and water bottle labelled with name ready). * spectators will need to social distance . 23.01.2022 Juniors are back and were all pumped about that. Its was a great afternoon of hockey at Vic Park. We welcomed some new players to the squad and we were excited to see lots of players return from last year! 22.01.2022 One of the silent, yet irreplacable volunteers is the "linemarker". Without them, we cant play. So this weekend Nico will be showing us how its used. Make sure you give yourself more time before the game on Saturday to see how its done, so that if the need arises, well have most of our members trained in how to operate this super important piece of equipment.

20.01.2022 Another great session of junior hockey this week! The minis Cake and Dessert Co awards went to Henry and Bertie. The awards for primary went to Sienna and Jarrah. The Squeeez Juice Bar awards for high school went to Alex and Thomas. Congratulations to everyone for their efforts and enthusiasm!

If you are passionate about seeing hockey grow in Mudgee and want to be part of making it happen, this is a place to start. The MDHA committee will be attending these webinars, and Id encourage as many of our members to join us. TD Solutions - Sports Administration will be running a series of 13 free webinars over the next three months. The webinars will support administrators t...o run organisations that will survive and thrive in the new normal after COVID. They will cover areas such as short and long term planning, committee structure & effectiveness, financial management, revenue generation, membership & sponsorship and succession planning.

14.01.2022 The weather is looking good for junior hockey tomorrow afternoon Please remember our COVID Safety points- stay home and get tested if you or your child are unwell or have been to any of the hotspot areas (mostly in Sydney) , one spectator only per child, sign the register and sanitise your hands on entry . We would like spectators to be especially aware of social distancing (staying at least 1.5m away from other people) on the sidelines. Lets keep doing our part as a team to keep everyone healthy and to allow us to keep playing.

03.01.2022 Dont forget to register! To ensure you maximise your registration for this year, you will need to register now. This will cover your insurances for 2020 and 2021. It will cover you for the remainder of this season (Juniors and Seniors), any summer twilight competitions and next years season. Saving $$$. Head to www.revolutionise.com.au/mudgeedha and click "register". ... Juniors will be commencing on Friday the 24th July, Seniors on the 18th July. The senior competition will be played as a 7 - a side modified competition on a half field to maximise playing time and enjoyment. It is perfect for those who are new to hockey, so feel free to invite friends to experience the game.
