14.01.2022 EASTER LONG WEEKEND availability Due to a cancellation, we now have our 3 bedroom Bloome Cottage available for Easter Long weekend. Minimum stay: 3 nights Bloome cottage: sleeps 7 in 3 bedrooms.... This cottage has 2 queen bedrooms, one with extra single bed, the twin bedroom has its own ensuite. The cottage has a 2nd bathroom with full length bath and a separate shower. The 2nd toilet is at the end of the hall. There is a fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher) dining table seats 8 and an open plan lounge area. There are no views over the property, more a suburban aspect. Access to to the gardens, vegetables, animal farm and river is down an avenue of trees. Facilities include smart TV, free WiFi and much more. All rooms offer reverse-cycle air-conditioning.

03.01.2022 We have received calls and emails asking us if Mudgees restaurants and wineries still open for trade. Until we are advised otherwise all shops, petrol stations, butchers, restaurants and wineries are open. I can completely understand the decisions we all face with the challenges this corona virus pandemic has placed on the world and its residents. The only self-isolation our Government has placed on all Australian residents is self-isolation on anyone who has been overse...as and has returned home in the last few weeks. If you and your friends are still able to shop for your household needs, re-fuel your car, visit friends, etc. then life for you is still relatively normal under the circumstances. I actually wear a scarf like a cowboy bandana around my neck and pull up over my mouth and nose when Im out and about or face to face with a person who has the sniffles. General common sense that may help stop large droplets entering my system. All our staff at Getaway Cottages maintain high standards of self hygiene and cleanliness. We have implemented a few extra in-house practices and are taking extra precautionary efforts to ensure your experience with us is still first class. Unfortunately the hospitality industry does not have the option to work from home and you cannot shop online with us. We can only rely on visitors coming to Mudgee to spend a few days enjoying all that our country-retreat in town has to offer.
