So keep an eye out for changes and please if you are interested in joining or simply want sone info on how to get started in the hobby head out for a visit or send us a message.

24.01.2022 Mudgee Rc Model Club would like to wish our members and page followers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to another year of fun in the new year.

22.01.2022 We had a great turn out today, and the weather was great for flying.

22.01.2022 It was an awesome turnout today. We had some very impressive planes and drones out flying around. As usual Rob kept everyone on the edge watching his flying skills.

21.01.2022 We had a busy day on the mowers today getting the grass cut. The latest is we are able to carry on with the track build so thats great news. If youre out near the club grounds tomorrow drop in and say hello, weather permitting we should be out there from about 9 am.

17.01.2022 This is the layout that we decided on. A large oval track around the outside with an offroad section in the middle. We can simply move some borders around and we have 2 different style tracks or one large track. We did a rough measurement and a lap of the full track including the oval about 180 meters. We still have a long way to go but it is underway. We are still undecided on the location of some jumps but there will be plenty of them, we cant wait to see the track with a heap of buggies running around on it.

17.01.2022 This is an ariel view of our new track, we had a test and run day today and the layout is great. With a bit more work it will be fast and flowing. Thanks dale from Mudgee rc Hobbies for these great shots from his drone.

16.01.2022 Alf with the mighty Boomerang 60.

14.01.2022 The first run on the track. Now to get it fenced, put up some barrier and get some jumps in.

13.01.2022 A couple of us went over to the orange club for there offroad day, this is some footage from the 1/8 ep race. A great club and track.

11.01.2022 Today we cut in the design for our new offroad rc track. So Its time for these to get a bath and a check over ready for a track test run tomorrow to see how the layout runs. If we are happy with the layout it will be full steam ahead.

11.01.2022 We started on the fencing around the track today, we got most of the posts in and the small gate. Only the large entry gate and 1 post left and then we can put up some wire.

10.01.2022 The club is holding a new Agm on the 11th of February at 11am to set up our committee, all club members are encouraged to attend. Anyone wishing to vote or accept a committee position must be a financial member of the club at the time of the meeting. No proxy votes will be taken. If you wish to help in the growth of the club come along and support our club.

07.01.2022 A good day at the club grounds, another pit bench installed. We are also upgrading the toilet amenities at the moment. Plenty of ground work done for the up and coming rc track. The area required has been allocated and its now time go get going.

06.01.2022 Hopefully the wind lets us fly tomorrow.

04.01.2022 We might need a bigger car park soon.

04.01.2022 We are now an incorporated club, the start of a new era. The club in mudgee has been around for nearly 25 years and was originally an aero modelling club. We are looking forward to see the club expanding with the new rc buggy track.

03.01.2022 Well what a day, great weather for flying. I completed my first solo today with the boomerang. Cliff did some great flying with his apprentice, then stepped it up with a flight on his nitro boomerang aswell. Rob our resident top gun was impressive as usual. Alf flew his awesome huge telemaster, it was a great sight up in the air. Only one mishap for the day but we wont go there. Cant wait until next Sunday haha. We had a few visitors drop out to the field today as well, we always welcome new people to come and check out the hobby and experience the excitement.

03.01.2022 There will be a general meeting at the club grounds on Sunday morning the 22nd of October. All members are encouraged to attend as decisions need to be made about certain things regarding the clubs future. Anyone that is intending on voting on the day must be a financial member. There are exciting times ahead for our club and we hope to see you all there.

03.01.2022 For those interested the club president is doing a working bee on Saturday if anyone is available to lend a hand, about 9 am at the club grounds.

01.01.2022 Would there be any businesses in the Mudgee area that would be interested in donating some fencing supplies to the club so that we can fence off the aeea for the new rc buggy track, we need some plain wire, 1 roll of 900mm high netting and 8 stays. If anyone can help us out we would be more than happy for you to put up some signage at the track. Cheers.
