23.01.2022 Four years ago this tennis court had a pH of 5.4 and about 4% organic matter. Today the soil has been mineralised, has a pH of 7.0, and has in excess of 12% org...anic matter. The garden beds are green manured in between every crop which has brought microbes, biology in the soil and abundant earthworms. The net result is we are able to grow produce which is healthier stronger and in some cases has the Brix level (measure of nutrient density) of nearly 20 versus hydroponic lettuce from the supermarket which has Brix level of 1.5.
