24.01.2022 Hi everyone we would like to let everyone know there is NO bushfires in Mudgeeraba currently to fill you all in with what’s happening or may of seen at the Mudg...eeraba showgrounds Rural Fire Service Queensland have put together a taskforce of fire trucks and volunteer firefighters to go down to ACT to help the bushfires currently happening down there. The RFS is using the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds overnight to house and check all of the fire trucks before they get loaded on back of trucks to go to ACT on Monday. See more

20.01.2022 Wishing the best of luck to our very own India Priestley who is representing the Mudgeeraba Show and South-East Queensland Sub-Chamber at the Ekka in the Queensland Country Life Miss Showgirl Awards. The next three days India will be participating in a variety of activities with her fellow Showgirls in preparation for the Showgirl Judging held on Friday at 3 pm. Many of our members will be attending on Friday for the judging and then at the official celebration dinner held on Friday evening. However, if you can’t make it, don’t forget to show your support for our incredible ambassadors.

Our gov...ernment is focused on making our communities more resilient and providing the social and community infrastructure we need. 19.01.2022 Today we thanked our hardworking volunteers with a well deserved lunch (and trivia). The Mudgeeraba Show wouldn’t be possible without our incredible volunteers and fantastic sponsors. Today the committee was also presented with an appreciation plaque by the Mudgeeraba Rural Fire Brigade on behalf of the Gold Coast Rural Fire Brigade. Each year we lend our grounds for their yearly training championships. What a wonderful community to be apart of and a fabulous day celebrating it.

17.01.2022 This weekend, members of the Mudgeeraba Show Society attended the inaugural Agricultural Shows of Australia Conference in collaboration with Queensland Ag Shows and expertly organised by Queensland Ag Shows Next Generation. It was a fantastic opportunity to hear from individuals from local, interstate and international organisations and businesses on a variety of topics relevant to Agricultural Shows. Not to mention a great opportunity to network and brainstorm for our own Show in June this year. The Show Society is walking away from this conference informed, motivated and enthusiastic to apply this newfound knowledge to the 92nd Mudgeeraba Show held on 26 to 28th June 2020. We can’t wait to share Australia’s Agricultural Industry this year where the Country Meets the Coast! #2020agshowsconf

Gates open 4.00pm Movies start at Dusk Family Friendly Food, Drinks & Desserts available - Social distancing measures in place to protect all of our guests and our staff from the risk of infection. - Advance internet ticketing with barcode scanner verification from Oztix - Only $35 + booking fees per carload for a family. - Hand sanitiser stations will be available at each entrance to the food area. - We request that all guests bring their own garbage bags to dispose of their own trash at home, so that our staff will not be required to risk their health by cleaning other people's trash off the ground. - People should remain in their vehicles to the extent possible. - Social distancing should be observed in common areas.

15.01.2022 As restrictions lift in regard to Covid-19, the Mudgeeraba Show Grounds is once again available for public events. We advise that all venue organizers, upon application for use, are informed of all conditions of hire, including adherence to mandates of Covid-19 in effect at the time. The Mudgeeraba Show Society has been vigilant in observing the government mandates Covid-19 since the onset in March. We advise all event organizers on our grounds are expected to do the same.... 12.01.2022 We have received confirmation from all of our 128 Shows and can confirm that no Queensland Ag Shows affiliated Agricultural Shows will be taking place in 2020 a...ll that had advised they where postponed have made the heart wrenching decision to cancel. Everyone is very excited for a bigger and better 2021. Remember our shows need your support more then ever!

11.01.2022 SHOW CANCELLATION In March 2020 the Mudgeeraba Show Society Inc. Management Committee, immediately upon hearing news of a lockdown, secured a postponement date from QCAS for our annual Show. This was rescheduled from the end of June to 2-4 October. It was with high hopes and optimism that we felt certain by October the Covid situation would ‘normalize’ sufficiently and that the ‘Show would go on’. With this in mind, we continued working on Show preparation from home d...uring lockdown. Fast forward to July and the unfortunate turn of events in the Covid situation, the Management Committee deliberated over several meetings to consider what was in the best interest of all those involved in putting on the Show or ‘event’ and what was in the best interest of those attending such an event. After much agonizing and very heavy hearts, it was decided that the most prudent decision would be to cancel our Show activity for 2020, which is what we have done. Please check our sign board at the Mudgeeraba Road entrance and our media sites for news and upcoming events. In the Show spirit, Ella Parsons, President

We will be guided by Government mandates and projections leading up to the 92nd Mudgeeraba Show, but are hopeful that we can welcome the community back to the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds this October.
