21.01.2022 It's time to dust off your sneakers, runners, joggers, trainers (any other names?) and start training for Mudgee's August Running Festival.

19.01.2022 Will the 2020 Mudgee Running Festival will go ahead given the coronavirus situation? The honest answer is: we have no idea. At present, we're planning to run our event in 22 weeks (5 months); we hope that on Aug 16 we’ll be cheering you across the finish line. But we just don’t know; the situation remains fluid with policies and advice changing daily (even hourly).... Early Bird entry prices are available until 30 June - so we recommend you add #MRF2020 to your calendar for 16 Aug and start training. Just wait a couple of months before registering (we’ve temporarily disabled online regos). Comment below, and we’ll send you a personal reminder mid-June. If we are going ahead as planned, we don’t want you to miss out on a one of our lovely shirts! If you have already registered and we need to cancel our event, our committee will have a big cry, and then we’ll refund your entry fees. We’ll keep you updated on our thoughts throughout the next couple of months, in the meantime, please remember to continually wash your hands, practice social distance and stay at home if you’re feeling unwell. Race Day: Sunday 16th August. 5km, 10km, 1/2 and Full Marathon - all set in and around the beautiful Mudgee Region Register via our new website at https://mudgeerunningfestival.com.au/

02.01.2022 COVID-19 is turning our world upside down! Our committee recently held its first ever Zoom meeting to discuss the future of our 2020 Mudgee Running Festival; sadly, we’ve made the extremely tough decision to CANCEL our event for this year. Many factors led to this outcome; the most significant was the uncertainty as to whether we would even be allowed to hold our event in August. There are at least 3,000 hours of blood, sweat and CHEERS that our volunteers put into planning ...and hosting our event each year. The possibility of this turning into blood, sweat then TEARS was just too high. If you have already registered for 2020, we will automatically refund your entry fee over the next week. There’s no need to contact us to request this. We’ll be back again in 2021 for our 20th Anniversary Take #2 and hope to see you all there.
