24.01.2022 Raising a glass tonight to all our friends that will have had tears of joy this afternoon. Those that can turn the closed sign around to some element, experiencing relief, hope and an element of tension disappear. We are so very much looking forward to seeing you one day soon in our Mudgee Wine Region
23.01.2022 Good morning Clubbers. It is a cheery sight to see everyone graciously sharing the Mudgee Wines in their glass and their delicious meals (and including support of some incredible local businesses and producers). Jolly repartee at times! Call it dangerous liaisons for some (!) but we have experienced our local wineries rejoicing with some direct sales as a result. A direct retail purchase means soooo much more investment into their business and especially valued at times li...ke these. So, thank YOU. That said, we would be lost without our local retailers and other online sellers who are an in town/one stop shop of all our local wines. They fly the flag with all their might. We salute YOU. Most of all, we get to meet you and form a relationship because guess what? YOU are why we are here. It is heartwarming to see folks avoiding the duopoly for your wine purchases and #shoplocal to buy #winefromthebush
22.01.2022 The Spoil of Their Labour This picture shows more than you see. It should not have grapes in it. The leaves should still be on the vine turning a glorious palate of Autumnal shades. What lead us to this? A crop that had the potential to be a superb vintage. It had on track fruit set despite being 50% lower in yield than good years, it was ripening with good flavour development and no disease. ...Continue reading

19.01.2022 We have a truly lovely MATES RATES for you today. This one is by a much loved fellow by the name of Dr Tim White who is the Winemaker and Vineyard Manager of Thistle Hill Organic Winery. Tim also has an incredible photographic eye and the beauty he captures in the normal is really well worth following on Tim White Photography Tims recommendations today are for the Manners Wine Ros and Skimstone Wines Chardonnay. He also shows the bountiful produce of our region. Get in... touch if you would like to source any of it. MATES RATES shows the respect we have for each other and the instance where it is easy to talk with glowing praise of someone you admire greatly rather than being put on the spot to talk about yourself. Tim is a great mate also to James Manners and Jean-Franois Esnault, and to our Mudgee Wine Region. He does more than we get the chance to thank him for so from all of us now, THANK YOU TIM! BTW - Tim and James are both in the RFS and spent a few months at the frontline. Two of the many heroes we have much to thank for.
