15.01.2022 Simple crew - if you're going to bring your dog to comp put it on a leash. We have also had complaints about people parking illegally at comps, we don't want to loose our permit so let's all play our part. See email below from council- I wish to advise Council has received a further complaint regarding dogs off leash at the time of your last Club meeting. Allegedly, on Sunday 12 July 2020 from 7:30am when your Club held its regular meeting (Permit REG20/0018), multiple dogs belonging to MudjimbaBeach Board Riders Club were allowed to roam freely and impact on other beach goers, and ignored lead-only dog conditions on the beach at the end of Sunset Strip Marcoola

The draw will not b...e available to view till first heat Sunday morning so it’s essential that every competitor is to be on beach by 7 am INCLUDING THE GROMMIES. 13.01.2022 Hey guys we are collecting anything surfing (wax, fins, leggies, surfboards, wetsuits and wet shirts) for Salty Souls Legacy. All products go towards helping out under privileged children on the Sunny Coast. If you have any secondhand goods then bring down to the comp on Sunday, this will continue for the rest of our comps this year. Everything is very appreciated @salty_souls_legacy

When: Thursday 29th April, 6pm 8pm Cost: Free Great opportunity for our new members, Mums, Dads, upcoming groms and teens to learn the skills needed to be confident in judging heats. Those who already have some knowledge of judging will certainly benefit too brushing up on skills. Spots are limited so get in quick. Must be 12 (turning 12 this year is fine) or over to attend.

07.01.2022 Meet Craig our new Grommie bank head judge. Craig has a lot of knowledge and passion for surfing and will be on hand to help out judges in grommie bank. We have had a few enquires regarding under 14’s surfing out the back. The club has always allowed any division to surf shories or out the back. Some conditions the grommies would struggle even getting out the back. Keep in mind it’s their top two scores added up for their end result. If the choose to paddle out the back and only get one wave there is a chance the surfers in the shores could get a combination score and be in front. See you all Sunday
