18.01.2022 The post you have all been waiting for - our unique Event QR code is finally here! As part of our requirement to reopen in Queensland, each parkrun event is required to display a unique QR code for contact tracing purposes. Can we please ask that all parkrunners, volunteers and spectators attending Mudjimba Beach parkrun scan the QR code below and sign in each week. We encourage you to do this before the event, but we will have printed QR codes available around the start area on the day. Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday! Rob, Michelle and the Event Team

15.01.2022 So who did a virtual run last weekend for the Sunshine Coast Marathon virtual run festival? We heard a rumour that several Mudjimba Beach parkrunners placed pretty well in the final standings Tell us your stories from the weekend!

11.01.2022 We are officially back next weekend! Our volunteer roster is looking very healthy for the first two weeks of our return to parkrun, but we would really like to get the volunteer roster filled up for December. If you can help us out then please let us know! Rob, Michelle and the Event Team P.S. Volunteers who are barcode scanning - please bring your own devices and make sure you have the latest version of the Virtual Volunteer app. You will know if you have the correct version because it will ask for the Event QR Code and your athlete barcode. The Run Director will have the Event QR Code on the day and this allows results to be directly uploaded to parkrun rather than sending an e-mail.

04.01.2022 A quick note about milestone celebrations - we can’t include these in the run brief at the moment - as this has to be short and sweet! However if you are doing a parkrun milestone, let the photographer know and we will grab a photo and celebrate your awesome stats on social media! Rob, Michelle and the Event Team

02.01.2022 Well folks it’s been a while, but we will see you back at Mudjimba Beach parkrun on the 28th November - we can’t wait! Please message us if you would like to help fill the volunteer roster! Rob, Michelle and the Mudjimba Beach parkrun Event Team

01.01.2022 IMPORTANT - with all the excitement of the restart, can we please remind all parkrunners: Please DO NOT park within 200m of the start/finish location. There is plenty of on-street parking available in the local area, just a short walk away from the event. We recommend parking in Cottonwood Street, Kawanna Street, on Mudjimba Beach Road or any of the streets parallel with it (West of Kawanna Street), and on Mudjimba Esplanade (North of Currawong Street). Please see our Parking... Guidelines Map for a visual representation of suggested parking areas. NO PARKING - There is strictly no parking permitted in Power Memorial Park, or directly in front of local businesses. Please leave these vacant for use by their regular patrons. Participants must abide by all car parking signage and park vehicles legally at all times. Parking on nature strips, areas of open space and parkland is not permitted and on the spot fines may be issued per vehicle parked illegally. Please also be considerate of residents by not parking across driveways. Thank you The Mudjimba Beach parkrun Event team See more
