21.01.2022 Hanging out in Gulgong with amazing talented people, survived the pub crawl in Chris's honour. Was a big night without him there enjoying himself, but so grateful for everyone's sincerity & welcoming us. Chris loved this place.

18.01.2022 Taking some time out to attend the Ceramic conference at Yarra Valley Estate. Interesting mix of styles of work being made. Possibilities are endless in ceramics.

14.01.2022 Glad to find this little pot ready to fire. I’m guessing a potter’s wasp.

09.01.2022 Ceramic Arts Network is a great resource to check out, you definitely will get lost & inspired!

08.01.2022 Today marked a year since we lost Chris, my partner in life for 34 years, & crazy clay buddy & essential part of the studio. His presence is still all around us, but so much was lost. Lucky are those who got to know him & share in his generosity & good nature.

07.01.2022 It was great for Hamish & I to see the unpacking of the wood kiln at Main Ridge last Sunday, with some Peninsula Potters. Lots of different shapes & reults from the 38hr firing. I'm starting to get inspired again for wood firing, which is why Chris & I came to Merricks North for 30 years ago, when we bought next to a saw mill & had delivered 20 tonne of fire bricks delivered. Not sure I could do that without him now.

07.01.2022 Just looking back at some of the students working in the studio.

06.01.2022 Term classes start this week so if you have been thinking of joining a class now is the time before the end of the year. Instruction in handbuilding & wheel, small class size & plenty of possibilities to capture your imagination. Wednesday & Friday 10-12.30. I am taking interest for Saturday morning classes once a fortnight, time to make some Christmas presents.

03.01.2022 Kiln unpacked this afternoon & lots of happy children taking home beautiful work. Can't wait to get into it again in Term 2. There are a couple of spots in Wednesday & Thursday afternoon children's classes, but be quick, they won't last.

02.01.2022 Looking forward to getting back in the Studio with you all in Term 3. Wednesday & Friday classes resume from 22nd July, with social distancing in place, plenty of space to meet the requirements.

01.01.2022 Unfortunately classes will not resume until the conclusion of the current lockdown. The situation will be reviewed then. In the meantime, why not plan your next projects using the plentiful resources available on-line.
