25.01.2022 - Dhwani Patel was the first student of our dance school and it all started with her 10 years ago. She’s now a graduated computer science professional and has continued her journey in dancing. She’s a dancer, choreographer and is a dance instructor at Mudra Dance Academy. Our students absolutely love her and her creative choreography. She is also an integral part of all events organised by our dance school where she works tireless...ly at backstage, on stage, before and after the event. She also helps various Indian events that take place in our community and volunteers at almost every possible ocassion. She is also a self learned costume maker, loves art and craft and makes best out of the waste - A TRUE DEFINITION OF A MULTITALENTED STAR SHE IS . She probably has more qualities than what we are aware of. In spite of all the talent & skills she has; she is extremely grounded, humble, respectful and one of the very few mature 21 year old girls I have ever come across! She is sorted, balanced, ambitious, dreamer, achiever, hard worker, dedicated, passionate and knows exactly what she wants in her life. Okay! I have lost words to praise her now (she deserves every bit of praise though) We are so glad to still have her as part of MDA even after a decade and we are so proud of all her achievements. We are uploading a video soon where you can see Dhwani and her students rehearsing for our upcoming 10 year anniversary event!!! 22.01.2022 Why dance? Money, name and fame? NO! Following the heart, feeling the soul and losing the pain After a busy working week, when you have 12 hours of dancing ...on a weekend and youre incredibly sore & tired!!! Then at an event, an old Australian man comes to you and tells you You dance from your eyes and the AUM on your arm reminds me of my trip to Himalayas in India. He wasnt tech savvy and struggled to use his phone but he badly wanted to show me his photos at the Ganges and somehow managed to do so - thats when you feel, Ahh! IT IS ALL WORTH IT. When you are busy taking dance classes, running around, getting exhausted, handling all the kids; one of the parents comes to you and says: when my daughter was asked about her favorite teacher at her school, she told everyone - it is Mudra Teacher. All teachers at her school asked the mother who is Mudra as theres no one in the school with that name - Thats when you feel, Ahh! IT IS ALL WORTH IT. When a mother comes to you with tears in her eyes telling you that she is living her dream through watching her daughter dance and since she could never feel courageous to go on the stage, she cant wait to watch her daughter dance on the stage - thats when you feel, Ahh! IT IS ALL WORTH IT. When a lady comes to you telling that shes going to step on the stage after 10 years and how her kids are so proud of her, and then she thanks me to make it possible - thats when you feel, Ahh IT IS ALL WORTH IT. Its not always about steps, techniques and beats in dance; it is about CONNECTING HEARTS, SETTING THE SOUL ON FIRE, WORKING TOGETHER AND MAKING DREAMS COME TRUE and yes IT IS ALL WORTH IT

We are all connected together through dance and it’s such a proud feeling to have witnessed this group flourishing over the years DANCE IS WHAT HAS KEPT EVERYONE INTACT and we can’t wait to do many more dance adventures together .

Thank you Aberfoyle High School for having us . 02.01.2022 MDA Prince Group - This was our first 'Boys Group' and they did an excellent job performing on the fusion of "Simba & Singham". Kudos to their dance teacher Darsh Vyas for such an amazing execution on stage. Almost all of the boys were first time performers and they performed with so much confidence and happiness on their face.
