23.01.2022 Hey beautiful people Just a reminder to our lovely customers , upon entry to our little cafe and being seated on our tables and chairs it is a requirement you show your postcode on your photo identification, if asked by any of our caring staff. Today a gentlemen was quite upset at having to do this, making my staff feel a little awkward as he left saying a few choice words. This, along with vigorous sanitising routines and other implementations such as no sugar bowls on... tables , or salt pepper and napkins provided with your meal and not kept on the table , is to ensure we protect ourselves, you and other lovely customers during these times. 10.01.2022 Some of you may have noticed a few changes we have made as of this morning, for those who haven’t - here’s an update : We have decided to run our window only , so this means some important changes to your usual routine, not only to protect you.. but us as well Our chairs and tables outside on the kerb are all 2 metres apart ... Our outdoor court yard is still available to use - please be mindful of distance and always cover your mouth with your elbow when coughing, better still.. stay home if your sick Your orders can be collected from the window , as well as your cutlery . If you need sugar, tell us, we are happy to put it in your coffee for you, no sugar bowls are provided . Once you place your order , you will be politely be asked to take a seat or stand away from our window, so no lingering folks - practice social distancing- Our dishwasher is set at over 80 degrees , and absolutely everything is put through it to kill any nasty germs floating around. We have sanitizer in a spray bottle for use , to wipe every table and chair after each person visits . We thank everyone for their continued support during this time, and look forward to making you feel like you’ve visited a safe environment to grab a nice hot cuppa and muffin, or something delicious from our menu Kal

This whole year has been completely different to anything most people have known. Our endurance to keep going came from our customers, especially those who had faced hard times in their lives before, be it our older generation who have experience similar hardships or younger enthusiasts just trying their best, Your stories of hard times and go...od times , and how you managed, shone a light for us and guided us through it was our pleasure to see you each day at the window . The crew at muffys are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of one of our beautiful customers, Leroy. A truely polite well mannered gentleman who loved his wife deeply.
