We were greeted at the Muir Lan back door recently by a small colony of what I believe were chocolate wattled bats (can anyone confirm?). 12.01.2022 Can I introduce you all to a little visitor you may be lucky enough to spot around Walkerville? The Antechinus, a small bug eating marsupial. He may look like the common mouse, but he is oh so much better as he chomps his way through all manner of insects. If he decides to come inside, he’s fairly brazen and will just wander past, then poke his head back out to see if you’ve been watching. ... 12.01.2022 The new front veranda railing and steps are looking amazing...and will be even better when we get a fresh coat of paint on. Can’t wait to enjoy breakfast and/or wine o’clock there soon. The other news from Muir Lan is that from May1st, all bookings will be via Airbnb. Sadly, Kate has decided it is time to retire PromAccom. After more than 15 years of witty emails, and professional property management, it won’t be quite the same. Good luck Kate, enjoy the freedom to go wherever & whenever the wind blows. We’ll look forward to sharing those bubbles on the front verandah soon.
