25.01.2022 Masks are a helpful addition in the fight against COVID-19 if used correctly. NSW Health strongly encourages people to wear them when unable to physically dist...ance, particularly in indoor settings, to keep everyone safe. Masks are recommended particularly in indoor settings such as on public transport, and in places where people congregate, such as entertainment venues and services at places of worship. They also offer protection if worn by staff in hospitality venues such as pubs, clubs and restaurants. When wearing a face mask, it is important to use it properly by: washing or sanitising your hands before putting it on or taking it off ensuring the mask covers your nose and mouth and fits snugly under your chin, over the bridge of your nose and against the sides of your face refraining from touching the front of your mask while wearing or removing it not allowing the mask to hang around your neck or under your nose not reusing single-use masks; wash and dry reusable masks after use and store in a clean, dry place. Even when wearing a mask: you still need to try to keep 1.5m from others wash your hands regularly stay home if youre sick. Below are some tips on how to make your own masks, including the types of materials and the sizes needed. https://www.health.nsw.gov.au//how-to-make-a-cloth-mask.pdf

15.01.2022 - IMPORTANT CHANGES TO COMMUNITY SPORT - NSW Health has announced further public health measures to minimise the risk of COVID-19 transmission related to participation in community sports. The NSW Health update includes the following public health recommendations:... Cease face-to-face social activities relating to community sports (e.g. award ceremonies, end-of-season social gatherings, post-training group dinners), Avoid carpools or bus travel with people from different household groups where possible, For local activities, limit spectators to one parent only, where the child requires parental supervision during the sporting activity. This includes the previously advised ZERO spectators for senior games. These changes will come into effect 19 August, and are anticipated to be in place for the next 6 weeks, which will see us through to the end of the season. We will continue to keep you updated of any further changes or announcements.

13.01.2022 It is disappointing to have to share such a letter from the Interdistrict Zone Associations. I hope this serves as a reminder for all of our club members and other club members across the three zones that we are here to play sport and this kind of behavior is very unnecessary. If you see or hear anything that you think is unacceptable at a game, please report it to a duty officer/committee member of the club where the behavior is happening. ... 11.01.2022 Mayfield United Junior Soccer Football Club is run completely by volunteers and provides the families in our community a low cost sport for their children to be a part of regardless of abilities and backgrounds. With this in mind we are very good at making the most out of our equipment and fields to keep our registration fees low and our kids involved. As the club has continued to grow in numbers year after year and our children progress through the age groups, we start to ...find gaps in the equipment we need. Thanks to Port Waratahs generous support we have been able to acquire almost 100 sturdy training balls for our older competition teams that should see them through many seasons. So from the parents and children of MUJSFC, thank you Port Waratah!

05.01.2022 Do your children play at Myamblah Cres ? Have your say on the current proposal.

05.01.2022 Do you have spare time before or after your games on Friday nights, Saturdays or Sundays? If so, your club needs you. This has not been an easy season to get off the ground with covid and the constant changes and restrictions that have been put upon us and your club committee is working very hard behind the scenes day in and day out but they are also giving up all of their time on game days to make sure everything runs smoothly and we are exhausted and in need of some extra s...upport. It is not often that we call upon our parents or players to help out but that is exactly what we are now doing. We are asking that if you have any spare time across the weekend and you are down at the grounds if you could jump in and give us a hand. Whether it be to come down on a friday night and watch some All Age football and pop on a duty officer vest, to coming down early on a Saturday and help us get equipment and team sheets ready before kick off, or to give committee time to go and watch their kids play and man the team sheet table to be there to guide our visiting teams. Every little bit helps. If you can assist please just turn up at anytime it would be greatly appreciated. Laura Ranger President

04.01.2022 Weve got some stock that needs to move. Purchase a 2.5kg bag frozen chips for $5.00 from the canteen on Saturdays. Great to use in the air fryer, just ask Laura how good they taste!

03.01.2022 A friendly reminder that all dogs must be kept on leads at training and game days. Please be respectful to other members of the club who may not like dogs including children and adults. Stevenson Park is also a Council ground and not an off leash dog park.

03.01.2022 If you have any spare time tomorrow and can come and help down at the fields it would be much appreciated. Just pop down and ask a friendly committee member where you can assist.

02.01.2022 P O S T P O N E D The committee of Mayfield United JSFC have decided not to run a summer football season this 2020/21 season. The committee will revisit hosting summer football next year for the 2021/22 season. We wish our teams a safe year, and hope to see them back in the future.

01.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Due to current concerns over covid-19 risks, we have decided that all of our Miniroo`s teams (U5-U11) will not be playing this weekend either home or away. This was not an easy decision but we as a committee feel this is the best option to keep our players and parents as safe as possible. Junior Competition and Senior competition teams games will still be played this weekend, but under restrictions of only 1 parent per player (for junior competition U12-U16) and ...0 spectators for senior competition teams. Please make sure to advise all of your team of these changes. We hope everyone has a safe weekend and we hope to resume next week. Please feel free to give me a call if you have any questions, Regards Josh Coaching CoOrdinator 0400 406 802
