23.01.2022 How to boost your homes first impression

23.01.2022 Another great result for existing clients PK & Aratiben as part of our regular review process. Went back to their existing lender and negotiated a rate reduction which will result in them saving $2,290 a year in interest alone.

19.01.2022 Tricks of the trade: How to add $50k to the sale price of your home

19.01.2022 So the jury is out when it comes to what economists think will happen with interest rates. If your mortgage is eighty percent or less of the value of your home your rate should be beginning with a three. The bank uses an assessment rate of at least 7.25% when deciding how much they will lend you so there is a fair margin for interest rates to go up.

17.01.2022 For all this talk of liar loans, I just don't see evidence of Mortgage stress in my day to day dealings with most clients. Most clients who refinance are actually ahead on their payments with significant amounts in either an offset account or their redraw. They are also generally refinancing their mortgage for a better deal. They are not consolidating short-term debt like car loans or credit cards into their mortgage. If there is mortgage stress this generally caused by long-term redundancy as most families in the mortgage belt are reliant on two incomes even if one is part-time.

17.01.2022 Interest rate increases unlikely then! However banks have been known to move rates independently so fixing is an option you should consider depending on your circumstances. Talk to us about why to fix or not.

17.01.2022 When transferring money to a settlement agent it is worth verifying bank details with your contact at the settlement agent over the phone. Or take a Bank Counter Cheque to the Settlement Agents Office.

01.01.2022 With looming rate rises in the US it makes sense to review your options here on if you want to consider fixing your home loan. Will rates rise ? The answer is inevitably yes but when. That is the question that none of the "experts" can answer.
