19.01.2022 The Mulgoa Quarries workshop crew have been hard at work these past couple of weeks. The crew successfully converted 5 of our 631G Scrapers into MDG15 compliant mine spec machines. The safety standards are rigorous to work up on the mines, the preparation has been a great team effort, the combination of our safety coordinator, workshop crew and operations manager have all done an excellent job to ensure the scrapers were safety compliant. We crack tested the rims, had the pr...essure vessels and air tanks inspected. They received full services and have all had a great wash to finish up! It has been an enduring process but today we say goodbye as we see them off, along with 5 of our young operators to live away from home for the next couple of months. 16.01.2022 The Compliance Council played a vital role helping us at Mulgoa Quarries achieve our ISO requirements. Firstly, they helped us with the Safety (45001) and Environmental (14001) standards. The latest achievement was earning the Quality (9001). Our management systems are now complaint in all 3 areas and we look forward to the opportunities that this will bring. Thanks to all from the Compliance Council who helped make this a smooth transition.

12.01.2022 Our workshop crew have been hard at it preparing three of our 631G Scrapers to head up north for some hard yakka! We have had to ensure our scrapers are safety compliant which has involved crack testing the rims, getting the pressure vessels and air tanks inspected. 08.01.2022 Over the last couple of weeks, Mulgoa Quarries has been hard at work on the bulk earthworks for the next stage of civil works at Sydney Business Park. Roughly 200,000m3 of cut to fill and 40,000m3 of topsoil removal. There has been 40,000m3 of rock excavation for the new API factory, and we will also continue to carry out the civil works for the new TJX and Cameron Interstate factories. We have 25 pieces of machinery onsite varying from dumptrucks, watercarts, graders, excavators, dozers, loaders, compactors, and scrapers. Great work from the crew so far

06.01.2022 After 21,000 hours our no11 Caterpillar 740 dump truck needs some love. No major work has needed to be done on no11 in the past, most of the original parts have stayed on her until now. The engine locked up onsite recently, the workshop crew is replacing it with a remanufactured engine, the guys also found metal in the transmission and are rebuilding it. The articulation hitch has also seen better days so we are working on that, the suspension bushes are also all being repla...ced. On top of that we are replacing the bin with an old bin from a dump truck that we converted into a water cart.
