A good way for interested people to have some time to themselves, learn from each other and join this friendly group. A gold coln is all you will pay and a good sense of humour is required. 16.01.2022 Too many birthdays happening at the Neighbourhood House. Yesterday a tutors birthday - cake - today a welcome back to term 2 - more cake. Sara is right - we are stacking on weight with all the celebrations we are having. It is nice though. It was good to have the MS group here today painting and doing mosaics and also the Oakleigh Centre working in the garden. Must say it is a lovely day to be outside.

15.01.2022 What a great day we had yesterday for the Mulgrave Neighbour Day. Lots and lots of people and everything was free. We had a survey going to gauge peoples requirements for classes and ideas and pleased with the response. Entertainment and yummy food was on the go. I must admit my favourites were the Zebra's who pranced around the building, also TaiChi who put on a demonstration . We gave away over 100 goody bags to the kids which had lots of interesting things inside. We have so many to thank for their kind donations we will be in touch with you all very soon. Photos coming as soon as I can work out how to get them off the phone.

15.01.2022 We are all back on deck after the Easter/school holiday break. Fun - fun - fun - we came back to NO INTERNET and it makes you realise how much you use it when there is no connection to just do your job. We are back online now thanks to our IT man who had us up and going when he came in today. Never a dull moment at Mulgrave. All of our wonderful English students are back (and some new ones) and our CNC fellows are back doing their creations. All is well in Mulgrave!!!!

06.01.2022 This morning we held a Biggest Morning Tea function to raise money for Cancer and pleased to say 100 people turned up and it was a lovely morning. Some of our English students entertained with a song in their native tongue which was well received. Most of the food was donated kindly by local businesses and there was plenty to eat. Many thanks to Sara and Kathy for their hard work. We had 4 door prizes which were won and the recipients were thrilled to receive their prizes. A great day held and enjoyed by all. Photos will be posted as soon as we can download them.

02.01.2022 Harmony Day was celebrated at Mulgrave Neighbourhood House today and it was so much fun. We have such a diverse community attending the House and with all their different tastes in food it makes it an interesting table presentation when it comes time to eat.
