25.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all our beloved friends and clients! We wish you nothing but love and joy over this holiday period, and look forward to seeing you all again after our short break over Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

24.01.2022 Today's a hot one, friends! On days like this, our furry friends need a little bit of extra care, so here's a few tips to help them through the day. 1. Limit walks to early morning or late evening, and check that the concrete is not too hot. 2. Freeze their treats and meals for a bit of refreshment and fun! Nurse Cassie froze the ones pictured below for her pups, with just some cooked chicken, raw carrot and water! It's super easy and very quick, and the dogs love it. 3. P...rovide plenty of shade and access indoors. 4. Fill a kiddie pool or large tub with ice or cold water for your dog to play in. 5. Commercial "cooling mats" are available at most local pet stores for you to purchase if your dog is particularly struggling. See more

22.01.2022 To all our valued clients, Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, we will be closed for today and tomorrow and will be reopening on (27/04/20). 21.01.2022 Our gorgeous boy Boris is off to foster today! There's a special forever home just around the corner for this smoochy little guy.

21.01.2022 Although we love this warmer weather, it does bring with it a higher occurrence of skin allergies in our dogs. Pets can be allergic to certain grasses, pollen's or even foods, just like us! While we call this hay fever, symptoms in our pets tend to manifest on their skin, as redness or excessive itchiness. There's plenty of things we can do to help, so don't hesitate to give us a call. We're more than happy for a chat!

19.01.2022 At Mulgrave Vets, we strive to encourage preventative care for the whole duration of a pets life. Things like annual health checks, vaccines, flea and worm treatments can help us identify a concern before it becomes a problem, or prevent them from even occurring in the first place. Annual health checks are quick and easy, so if your pet is due, book one in today!

16.01.2022 Introducing a new book by our very own Dr. Noel Nadesan! This memoir details Noel's most trying and interesting cases from his long and international career. You can check it out through the link below! https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08NZ7V651

15.01.2022 Let's talk about microchipping! A microchip is a small chip (about the size of a grain of rice), that is implanted just underneath the skin of your pet as a method of identification. It stores all of your details so that when a lost pet is found, it can be quickly returned to its owner. Unfortunately, if your pet is not microchipped, or if the details on the microchip are not yours, it is harder to return your beloved pet to you. We are able to scan and check these details for you, so give us a call today and come say hi!

06.01.2022 This is an incredibly difficult time for the entire policing community and our members appreciate your support. We encourage you to support our police and PSOs ...where you can, importantly by reaching out to your family and friends in the job to let them know you’re there if they need you. If you wish to support the families of the four officers who were killed in the line of duty, Victoria Police Legacy has set up a fundraising account you can donate to. You can access details here: bit.ly/2VydYNP We hope you also look after yourself at this difficult time. If you need support, please contact Lifeline on 13 11 14.
