Such as their unique Beeswax crayons made with their beeswax and non-toxic pigments (nothing nasty is added). Shapes are dinosaurs, enchanted, garden insects, the universe, Aussie/beach, surfboard shape (the perfect shape for little hands to grip). Or, personise crayons with your child's name, each capital letter is approximately 5cm high and 4cm wide!

They got spring rolls from Cris bbq, strawberries from Bennys Berries, scones from Anja Scones. PLUS homemade banana bread. Yum! Another market update; We are feeling disappointed, still families showed up at the market today. We had to turn them away. Please help us avoid this awkward scenario. Restrictions indicate one member per household which we also have to oblige by!

17.01.2022 <3 UPDATE + RECIPES FROM Saori Sauce! :D We all need some excitement at home during lockdown. So...how about making seafood teppan yaki at home? SAORI Premium Japanese Sauce is now available via John the oyster bloke. Get the best quality seafood + award winning Japanese sauces at once. He still goes to our markets & has a home delivery service as well. So, check his facebook page and find out where he is!... Easy Amazing Japanese Seafood Recipes: You can use SAORI Wasabi Chilli Teriyaki Sauce, SAORI Goma (Sesame) Sauce or SAORI Ponzu (Citrus) Sauce in both of the recipes below. Salmon sausage fried noodles: Stir-fry 1 salmon sausage (cut into slices) for few minutes in 1 tbsp of olive oil then add thin sliced vegetables (capsicum, onion, carrot etc) and continue to fry for a few more minutes. Add pre-boiled egg noodles, flavour with your choice of SAORI Premium Japanese Sauce and continue to cook for a couple of minutes. Butter syoyu prawns & scallops Cook prawns & scallops for 1 minute on each side in butter then drizzle on your chosen SAORI Premium Japanese Sauce. Cook until caramelised, As a healthy serving suggestion, wrap them in lettuce when you eat them. BTW... his prawns and scallops are sashimi grade so you dont have to worry if they are cooked enough or not. Enjoy high-end Japanese restaurant meals at home!

13.01.2022 :D HAPPY FATHERS DAY + IMPORTANT MARKET NEWS What a gorgeous sunny day. Thank you, everyone, for visiting us today! We hope you will enjoy the fresh produce and market goodies. Thanks to all those that adhered to the 1 person per household rule. Now to some not so good news: We understand that you are all probably experiencing lockdown fatigue, we 100% get it. ... However, we were unfortunately visited by a lot of families today again! Which we had to deal with according to the current restrictions that are STILL in place ! However, we are still operating on the basis of a shopping facility rather than a recreational outing for your family or with friends. It is putting enormous unnecessary pressure on our market to have to deal with these awkward and stressful situations. In summary: we have a zero-tolerance in place and families will be turned away. This is simply part of stage 4 restrictions, which we have to adhere to as a market. We have been doing our best to remain open during this pandemic. We know it is hard, we also miss having our vibrant, community market atmosphere. However at present, please do the right thing and help us out by adhering to the current restrictions for stage 4.

12.01.2022 <3 :D Here's a delicious recipe by Blue Bay Cheese. They are one of our regular stallholders and will be attending again this upcoming Sunday! RECIPE: Blood Orange, Poppy Seed Kefir Cake with Spiced Hot Chocolate... 1 cup poppy seeds cup Blue Bay Kefir 2 cups self-raising flour, sifted 200g unsalted butter, softened Zest of one large blood orange, finely grated 3 large free-range eggs cup blood orange juice [For Cake Syrup] cup caster sugar 1 cup blood orange juice Preheat oven to 160C Method 1. Grease and line baking tins. (This recipe will make one 20cm round cake or 3 small individual cakes as pictured). 2. Mix the kefir and poppy seeds in a small bowl and set aside. 3. Place butter, sugar and orange zest in the bowl of an electric mixer and mix until well combined. 4. Using a spatula, scrape the side of the mixing bowl to ensure that ingredients are well combined. 5. Add eggs one at a time to the mixing bowl and continue to beat at a medium speed. 6. Add flour and slowly add orange juice and the poppy seed kefir mixture while continuing to mix. 7. Transfer the cake batter to the lined baking tins and bake for approximately 40-45 minutes. 8. While baking, create a simple blood orange syrup by adding orange juice and caster sugar to a small saucepan over a low heat. Cook until sugar is dissolved. Next increase the heat and bring the syrup to the boil and cook for 5 minutes or until thick. Remove from heat and set aside. 9. Once baked, remove the cake(s) from oven. Using a skewer, make a few holes in the cake(s), then pour over the syrup. 10. Allow cake(s) to cool on a wire rack. Spiced Hot Chocolate Sauce Makes 300ml 200ml thickened cream vanilla pod, seeds scraped 1 cinnamon quill 1 star anise 1 tbsp caster sugar tsp nutmeg, ground tsp cardamon, ground Pinch salt 50g unsalted butter 150g 70% cacao chocolate Method 1. In a heavy-based medium saucepan place all ingredients and warm over a low heat. 2. Stir continuously with a wooden spoon until chocolate and sugar have melted and mixture becomes glossy. 3. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature to allow flavours to infuse. 4. Strain the spices from the chocolate sauce. To Serve Dress your cake(s) with candied orange slices and drizzle with spiced hot chocolate sauce. Serve with chilled vanilla cream.
