15.01.2022 The City of Joondalup Mullaloo Triathlon 2020 is still in need of volunteers on race day to enable this event to proceed as smoothly as possible. If you are not racing and looking to contribute to our local triathlon community please put your hand up to assist! Volunteers can get race credits for their next event or for a friend or family member already entered!... Bring x1 volunteer and receive a 30% race credit, x2 for a 60% race credit and a 100% race credit for x3 volunteers on the day! 14.01.2022 Did someone say rain? So indeed it did....all morning!!!! Despite this many of you turned up and braced the conditions, so well done, you are braver than many! Many bike stacks and grazes to display in the slippery conditions. One hospital admission who has already been released fortunately...helmets are a life saver!... Our sincere thanks and appreciation to the race volunteers, Mullaloo Surf Club and TA Technical Officials who assisted today with a smile despite the conditions. We are most appreciative as without you this event would not have happened! Also the City of Joondalup who have assisted us all year juggling race dates due to Covid and also working around road works, as well as our the guidance on our Covid Event plan! My heartfelt gratitude to the Team XTR members who were out early and for many hours after packing and cleaning up...many still at it despite been soaked through! Pre race day registration bag collection (numbers, timing chip, swim cap, vouchers) will now be available at the XTR Multisports store (Royce Court, 1/210 Winton Road, Joondalup) on: Saturday 31st October 2020 from 11am - 3pm... Sunday 01st November 2020 from 5:00am to 6:40am on race day at the race transition area Tom Simpson Park, Mullaloo Beach. Please ensure you have registered and collected your swim cap, timing chip band. We strongly suggest to ensure race pack collection the day before the race to ensure you have plenty of time on race morning. Also as lucky as we are in WA, be sure to observe safe distancing !
