24.01.2022 Massive core found by my late grandfather Kingswell Carl Brown Stone artefacts prove tangible evidence of where Ngunnawal people lived and how we manufactured tools, obtained resources and food including processing plants and animals or use in ceremony. Traces of wood, plants, or animal blood can survive on stone artefact edges. Edge damage can reveal how artefacts were used for different functions, such as cutting, scraping, hammering or grinding. #ngunnawalcountry #ngunnawalhistory #stillhere #knowyourhistory #mulleundreaming

02.10.2021 King Andy Lane - Ngunnawal Murringe He was a prominent figure in Ngunnawal Country, particularly of the Wallaboloa clan. In the early 1800s he dominated South East Australia, right down to the areas of Bega and Eden. ... He forged strong relationships with non-Indigenous families; the Humes, Broughtons, Kennedys, Walkers and Howells. Reconciliation is an ongoing process, and I encourage all Australians to walk this path with me and my Ancestors. Today I honour him. Today I respect him. Today I continue his legacy. Andy > Frances > Alex > Jean > Carl > Tina > Justine From the first sunrise until the last - Always Was, Always Will be Ngunnawal Country. #ngunnawalcountry #ngunnawalpeople #wallaboloa #yassvalley #mypeoplemypeople #knowyourbloodlines

25.09.2021 ** please be advised that the following video contains a member from community who has entered the Dreamtime ** Mulleun Dreaming has been established in honour of my late Grandfather Kingswell Carl Brown, who was a very proud Ngunnawal Murringe from Yass Valley NSW, who devoted his life to caring and representing Country particularly through traditional cultural burns. He was a major leader in Canberra and the surroundings, he was also a man with much influence, respect and ...integrity he could say a million words without even whispering one. His presence amongst the Community was strong and continues to be strong with his Children and Grandchild as they carrying on his legacy as Ngunnawal Murringe. I still feel him with me here today and that makes me feel strong of who I am and where I come from - I am a Ngunnawal Warrior today and no man made laws will ever take that away from me. #ngunnawalpeople #mypeoplemypeople #ngunnawalwarrioroftoday #longlineofwarriors
