25.01.2022 This one’s for all the folks who live in Mullewa. Please take a few minutes over the weekend to fill in the Mullewa Community Resource Centre survey. Your answers will help to decide what fabulous activities the CRC will provide in the coming year. It only took me 5 minutes so I’m sure you could get it done over a cup of tea break or a beer at sundown.

22.01.2022 Seeking help from past committee members: Mullewa District Agricultural Society has good records of the last 10 years but we have no minutes of meetings prior to that. For a Society that's 86 years old, there is a rich history and we're hoping someone might have old minutes books, copies of past minutes or any other records tucked away in the back of a cupboard. It's important to keep our history safe and accessible, so any help you can give us would be much appreciated. Please contact [email protected] with any clues you have.

19.01.2022 URGENT: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO MAN THE MIDWEST DISPLAY AT THE PERTH ROYAL SHOW. Will you be in Perth during Show Week? Mullewa District Agricultural Society needs volunteers to supervise the Midwest District Display in the Centenary Pavilion. Anyone from secondary students to retirees can help us. It’s an easy task, you don’t need any skills, just a willingness to give up two hours of your time to make sure no one damages our brand new, professionally designed display. If you w...ould like to interact with the public and talk about our fabulous Midwest that’s great, but you don’t have to, just being there to keep an eye on things is enough. Mullewa is responsible for helping on Monday 30th September and Thursday 3rd October, but your help would also be appreciated on any of the other days that week if it fits better with your school holiday plans. Time slots available are: 9am - 11am 11am 1pm 1pm 3pm 3pm 5pm 7pm 8.30pm I have entry tickets for volunteers and their friends/family and I may have a limited number of parking tickets (to be confirmed) Please let me know if you are available to help as soon as possible by commenting below, PM or email [email protected] See more

18.01.2022 There is a small silver lining in this Covid-19 cloud. Now you have several quiet months ahead of you, it's a great opportunity to get that unfinished project out from the back of the cupboard or to scrounge through your collection of art/craft materials and work on something for the 2021 Mullewa Show! Needlework, Handicrafts, Photography, Art, Contemporary Crafts - you finally have some time to indulge knowing that you're doing your bit to protect the community at the same time. Stay safe everyone.

18.01.2022 Entering the competitions at Mullewa Show is FREE! Now is a great time to think about entries for the 2020 Mullewa Show Photography Competition. While you're stuck inside avoiding the flies and the heat, go through your summer images to see if any fit the classes or make a list of photographs you plan to take when the weather cools down. Classes include: People/Portraits, Landscape, Macro, Travel, Animals, Sport & Recreation, Rural, and Panoramic to name a few. And don't forget our Special Competition for a photograph which fits the 2020 theme "Back to Mullewa"

15.01.2022 A BIG thank you to the City of Greater Geraldton for a generous Community Grant. Grant funding will help us with our advertising and will also help us to bring two amazing free attractions to the Mullewa Show, one for the younger children and one for the older children/youth. Stay tuned for announcements about all the fun things on offer at the 2020 Mullewa Show

04.01.2022 Mullewa District Agricultural Society would like to thank the Mullewa Community Group for a generous Mullewa Community Trust Grant. This grant funding will help to pay for an exciting major attraction at the 2020 Mullewa Show for you to enjoy.

04.01.2022 Ethan Harder won the Mullewa Quick Shear in 2018 and is a true champion. The Mullewa Quick Shear is a thrilling competition with an impressive field of highly skilled athletes. Maybe it’s time to come Back to Mullewa for the 2020 Mullewa Show.

02.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who participated in our post-Mullewa Show survey. It gave us plenty of ideas to make Mullewa Show even better next year. The winner of the $50 voucher was Graeme Kerr - we'll be in touch soon!
