If you know a young person/group that has demonstrated creativity, perseverance, teamwork or leadership, nominating them for the 2021 Maroondah Youth Awards is the perfect way to recognise their resilience, celebrate their achievements, and boost their confidence. Nomination process & eligibility:... Nominating a young person/group via our online nomination process has been made quicker and easier than ever before. To be eligible to be nominated for an award, the nominee must be aged between 10-25 years, with connections to Maroondah. Every young person who is nominated will receive an award. 14.01.2022 Hey you mob As most of you already know restrictions have been lifted in Victoria and we are able to see our loved ones face-to-face. As of last Sunday 8 November 2020 at 11:59pm the 25 kilometer limit was lifted and will no longer be in place.... The rules that currently apply to regional Victoria will apply to the whole state wherever you live. What does this mean? You can still only have a maximum of two people to visit per day. Going forward though, those two people don’t need to be from the same household, and they’ll be able to come at different times. Restaurants, pubs and cafes will be able to host up to 40 customers indoors and 70 outdoors. Gyms and indoors sporting facilities can open with up to 20 subject to strict density limits. Indoor sport for those 18 and under can recommence. Indoor religious ceremonies will be increased to 20, with 50 allowed outside. The same numbers will apply to funerals, but there’s no change to weddings for now. Community spaces like libraries or RSL’s and neighborhood houses can have up to 20 indoors, with groups of up to ten. Indoor entertainment venues will be able to open with 20 per space Movies theatres, galleries, museums and music halls now be able to open A household will be able to visit together. Once per day two hours Those under 16 will also be able to visit hospitals. And the time limit for partners visiting maternity wards will no longer exist Individual hospitals and facilities though may continue to have their own policies reflecting the needs of their patients and whatever the virus might be doing in our community. Private gatherings will be able to increase to 10 people. Gatherings for religious services, weddings and funerals will also increase too Hospitality venues will be able to have up to 100 indoors and 200 outside Please find below the statement from the Premier and also the next steps.

Applications are now open for the Aunty Mary Atkinson Scholarship Program which will assist Victorian Aboriginal students by investing in their academic development and providing financial support to undertake full-time study in a broad range of fields related to the portfolio areas of the (DJPR)....
