23.01.2022 On Friday we had yet another assembly jam-packed with talented performers. Here are some clips of our senior choir, rock band, a student drum performance and a special guest at the end! We are so proud of the perseverance our students show to learn an instrument, and then the bravery to perform at an assembly. Well done to everyone involved!

17.01.2022 Well done to the almost 50 runners who represented Mullum today at the Warrandyte South District Cross Country event, held amongst the wind and rain at Quambee Reserve, where the Mullum school values were on show for all to see. Our school finished the day in third place of the overall event with 7 students placing in the top ten of their age divisions and qualifying through to compete at Regionals. 3 students finished in 11th and 12th place and have subsequently been named a...s the reserves for their age divisions. Thank you to all the families who came along and braved the weather to watch, support, cheer and praise the amazing efforts of all our students. *Pictured below are just some of the finalists who will hopefully compete at next weeks Regional event.

10.01.2022 On Thursday MPS are celebrating Colour Your Threads for Pos Ed. This is an opportunity to recognise the character strengths ourselves and others have displayed during this unusual and challenging year. This video, featuring two Mullum students, includes examples of strength spotting in action. Now it’s your turn. Maroondah City Council are asking community members to submit a short video sharing a strength you have seen in a young person (aged up to 25) this year. The chosen ...short clips will be compiled into a short video to be shared far and wide! Everyone who submits a clip will go into the running to win one of 10 $50 gift cards for the young person whose strength you’ve noticed. Check out the VIA Institute on Character website for a list of the 24 character strengths. So whether it’s your friend, niece/nephew, client, daughter/son, or neighbour who is under 25, please consider submitting a short clip explaining what you’ve seen and share this with the community! http://www.maroondahyouth.com.au/Spotting-the-Strengths-of-

04.01.2022 While the cross country children were away, everyone else got to play...well, sort of! Grade 3 & 4 students have been diligently practising semaphore signals. Semaphore signals are used to convey information across a distance through the use of visual tools such as the body or flags. Using only right angled signals and acute angled signals, students generated words and phrases for one another to decipher.
