23.01.2022 RIPPLES IN THE SAND Enter a hidden world where the sand, water and music combine. Using the coloured mineral grains of Stradbroke Island, Quandamooka... artist Craig Tapp and musical adventurers Orsino's Safari explore relationships between music and nature through ephemeral images traced in sand and sound. Craig Tapp is of Noonuccal, and Ngugi descent. He is an artist of many talents, his work includes Acrylic on Canvas, Natural Sand Art Designs on Canvas, Jewellery carving and design using natural materials gathered from the beaches, mangroves and surrounding landscapes of Moreton Bay. Orsino's Safari has a special blend of song and melody that will transport you. Sizzling violin lines juxtapose jazzy flute, virtuosic guitar and sonorous cello, through intricate arrangements that take you on a musical adventure around the globe. From rain-drenched Parisian streets, South American tango clubs, Middle-Eastern deserts and back again! Noted singer Mel Lathouras also lends her talented to vocals to what will be incredible and beautiful experience.
