12.01.2022 Australia stands together today to remember the systematic racism and oppression of Aboriginal peoples under government policies and pay our respects to the Sto...len Generations. Sadly though, with Aboriginal children still 11 times more likely to be taken away from their families than non-Aboriginal children, this day reminds us that the unwarranted removal of our kids from communities is not a thing of the past.

08.01.2022 Today is National Sorry Day. A day for us to remember and acknowledge the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who were forcibly removed from their families and communities, which has been labelled ‘The Stolen Generations’. Despite conducting the Bringing Them Home report twenty-four years ago and it being thirteen years since the National Apology speech, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children are still over 10 times more likely than non-Indige...nous children to be removed from their families. 41% of Children in out-of-home care in NSW are Aboriginal and something that continues to grow every year. Some would argue that the forced removal of our kids from their families and country is not a thing of the past! Muloobinba Aboriginal Corporation would like your help to support our kids and return them home to their families. You can help by contacting us and applying to become a foster carer today. Call our office and ask to speak to our Carer Recruitment team (02) 4969 5299

02.01.2022 We’re on the hunt for a black fella His name could be Thomas James Carter, Thomas James but we are definitely looking for Thomas or known as Tom. We know he wo...uld have lived in Pittsworth Queensland in late 2006 and frequented the Pittsworth Pub. He would be around the age of 49 or 50 today and in 2006 he would have been living with his mother and possibly other family members in Pittsworth Queensland. He is Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and his last description back then was tall, dark skin with curly hair. At the end of 2006 he may have been released from jail and was doing labouring work around the Pittsworth/Toowoomba area Do you know Tom? Does the description above sound familiar to you? I know this is a needle in a haystack situation, but we are exhausting all the options in our desperation in finding this fella. If nothing else, can you please share this post, particularly with your friends in the Pittsworth/Toowoomba areas. Let us know if you can help us track this fella down. Any information would be great. Randall Briggs 0448002423 Ryan Walker 0448580114 Zach Pegler - 0448008919
