It is said that when a Master watches a Kung Fu demonstration he (or she) looks at th...e foot work and stances of the person demonstrating. By doing so they can easily judge the person's level of skill. Kung Fu stances teach the student correct alignment and posture. They teach you how to twist, shift, and move and emit force in all different directions.
