We have a big team of volunteers ready to ring people who are living in aged care or receiving a home care package. Our volunteers are happy to write letters or emails as well as keep in touch with regular phone or Skype calls. We can even connect with those who have been approved but are currently on a waiting list for a home care package. 21.01.2022 May 22 saw the launch of our Greek Art Therapy sessions held in Marrickville. An amazing group of elderly clients came together to practice their skills in marbling and had lost of fun! 17.01.2022 Short Term Restorative Care (STRC) is designed to improve overall wellbeing and slow the functional decline of older people who are at risk of losing their independence - and want to stay living in their own homes. Funded by the Department of Health, STRC packages run for a fixed period of time (usually 8 weeks) and are targeted towards achieving clearly specified goals. A flexible care program is delivered by a multidisciplinary team of doctors and allied health profess...ionals, who identify and treat medical conditions in the client's home.
