24.01.2022 Another powerful campaign by Nike. The 90-second commercial titled You Can’t Stop Us tells the powerful story of sport living on through any kind of adversity. We will come back and come back strong!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA4dDs0T7sM&feature=share

21.01.2022 On August 29, India celebrates National Sports Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey wizard Dhyan Chand - who was an integral part of 1928, 1932, and 1936 Olympics Gold medal-winning squad. In a career spanning over two decades, he scored over 400 goals and won many accolades throughout his illustrious career. Quite a unique celebration in a country that has a predominant focus on cricket. Perhaps a cue for other countries to celebrate such milestones too, especially in women's sport.

13.01.2022 Useful tips for parents.

12.01.2022 Our founder attended the British High commission Diversity and Inclusion breakfast today morning at the MCG. The keynote was by Danielle Green MP, Parliamentary Secretary for Sport, followed by a Panel consisting of Tal Karp (moderator), Tony Armstrong ABC , former AFL player and Darcy Vescio , Carlton football club , AFLW and Rowen D’Souza Australian from Open Glam Slam. A diversity of views but it's clear that more needs to be done in this space for any meaningful change.

11.01.2022 Where is the diversity? Australia has a long way to go before the on field representation is reflective of our demographic. Our work in increasing participation of women of diverse backgrounds in the sporting sector becomes more important than ever. https://www.sbs.com.au//australian-olympian-threatens-boyc

10.01.2022 If you are interested in a discussion on developing sport for culturally and linguistically diverse as well as Indigenous women and girls.

09.01.2022 An important survey for women from culturally diverse backgrounds in sport leadership which our organisation has been instrumental in initiating. There is a large underrepresentation of women from culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) backgrounds who are leaders throughout many sectors, including sport. To increase organisational performance, social responsibility, membership and gender equality in the sport sector, there is a need to increase the number of women from ...CALD backgrounds as leaders. Sports leadership roles exist in community clubs through to international organisations. Many roles exist, examples include a: team manager for children; club committee / board member; coach; umpire; senior marketing manager; CEO; and President. To help create diverse and inclusive workplaces in sport, we need to understand what prevents or encourages you to be a leader. Your input will be combined with hundreds of other women’s and findings will be transferred into strategies to assist sport organisations. The following survey focuses on women who: Want to become sport leaders Are current sport leaders Are not interested to become leaders in sport To learn more and begin the survey, please click here to begin: https://vuau.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bEEKoQVbsHGLxgV Thank you for contributing to this important research.
