25.01.2022 When was the last time you gave your body a good stretch? If you can't remember, then you are well overdue. Book that yoga class or roll out the mat at home. You could even stretch out on your bed. Make a time now to take better care of yourself through stretching. Ahhhhh.....such a blissful feeling afterwards!

21.01.2022 It is full moon Friday. The moon effects the ocean and likewise our emotions. Have you noticed anything unusual about how you feel leading up to and during a full moon? These past few days and in particular today I am feeling frustrated, teary and a tad off balance. In response to this turbulence I am taking really good care of myself. Going slowly and prioritising my to do list. If you are feeling unstable today/tomorrow, may I suggest you do the same. 20.01.2022 Have you ever had a feeling deep inside that you could and you wanted to do a particular something. You knew it was going to be fulfilling and rewarding. But it remained like a dream. Intangible and kind of elusive, not knowing how it would happen. When it would happen? This was how I felt about being an artist. The kind of artist that used paint on canvas for creative expression. It wasn't until 2010 that I discovered my painting niche. ... I'm not the landscape or portrait kind of painter....that's way too conformist for me. Ken Done was my inspiration in the 80's. With his abstract splashes of colour, bright and free. I wanted to express my inner painter in a unique way with vibrancy, joy and most importantly.....No Rules! It was one of the most exhilarating days of my life when it came my way. Just goes to show that if you hold onto your dreams with a dash of faith, it will happen. It took nearly 20 years for me. Hold Onto Your Dreams....no matter what!

13.01.2022 Despite the fact that life for me (and maybe you can relate to this) is moving sooo quickly and at times a blurrrr......where did September go??? Eeeeeek :) I have this fabulous photo (We met up for lunch on Sunday) and memories of my Uncovering the Diamond Within 6 week circle series to remind me. Here we are celebrating the sisterhood, new friendships and appreciation for our uniqueness. All of us different, yet connected by our hearts. I'm sooo looking forward to the next series and all its possibilities happening at The Flourish Centre. Starting on Thursday 29th October at 10.30am. What fond memories do you have from the month of September?

02.01.2022 It’s been a of a week, been sick, client issues, massive bloody email tech issues, me feeling I’m not handling anything, topping it off with gut specialist app...ointment this afternoon for more tests , Alannah’s bike getting stolen, other issues, but in amongst it there were little rays of light that I wanted to share with you. Yesterday I finally got the energy, after skulling some Prüvit, to leave the house and as I was walking around thinking to myself, ‘we need to be kind to each other, because looking at me, no one knows what’s going on, so we need to do that with everyone’, then as I was stocking up on ‘healthy?’ Frozen meals just in case I can’t get out again, a lady walked past and said I looked lovely in my top, jeans and sneakers. I told her she had no idea how much those kind words lifted my spirits and wept a little. A couple of days ago, I received a ‘smile’ in the post. Again, another amazing humble human making strangers lives better. Although I’m not a stranger to Marie Wilkinson - Leader, Artist, Healer, she makes these and places them around to bring a smile to strangers. I was going to give mine away and pass the smile on, but I feel I need to keep it for some time on my fridge. Her gift came at the perfect time. I also wanted to give a shout out to Tam Smal, who is an amazing human and fighter, and who has always past and present, been an inspiration. See more
