23.01.2022 Well, I hope you all had a safe and Merry Christmas. Now lets go head first towards the New Year. I'm in Rockhampton area for 3 days this week, going to see if I can cram 5 days work into the 3. I know I'll be stopping at Raglan Tavern on 1 of the runs. Call or text me if you need anything sharpened and I'll drop in and see you. For those I don't see, catch you next year. Be safe this week folks. Dishwashers are for dishes and cups and stuff, not your good knives. Apart from damaging/weakening the blade they can also cause the handles to crack/deteiorate. Hand wash your knife as soon as you've finished with it and put it back where it belongs. It will help the knife retain its edge.

22.01.2022 Back on the highway this week. Off to Rockhampton today, have a few items to return after being repaired plus a couple of jobs. Tomorrow it's off to Bluff, Blackwater, Emerald, Capella, Clermont and Moranbah. I'll be in Emerald tomorrow afternoon sometime, Capella and Clermont Thursday and Moranbah Friday. Next week I believe I'm in Gladstone area. Call or text if you need anything sharpened.

17.01.2022 Well I guess the holiday is done. Off to Mackay tomorrow after receiving a number of calls re: my next visit there. Better to get there and sort them out now than making them wait another month or so. Stop in Rockhampton on the way back on Wednesday to do a few jobs also. Bread/serrated knives can be brought back to life also. Not all mind you but most of them.

16.01.2022 Early update this week as I have an early start to my travels. Heading off to Mackay today, first leg of the weeks driving. Tomorrow I'll be in Townsville to see some customers before heading off to Cardwell. Tuesday I'll finish my work in Cardwell then head to Tully and Innisfail. Wednesday will see me heading to Cairns. Thursday I'll go to Port Douglas and then Mossman and return to Cairns. Depending on what work I have left for Friday will decide the time I head back to Mackay. Should get home Saturday afternoon sometime after stopping in Rockhampton.. Next week I'll be visiting Agnes Water, Bundaberg and Gin Gin. Even badly damaged cleavers can be repaired.

16.01.2022 On the road again this week. Off to Rockhampton area for the first 3 days then into Yeppoon and Emu Park on Thursday. Not to sure what's happening Friday at this stage but I'm sure something will crop up. Next week I'll be heading out to Biloela, Moura and Mundubbera areas. Don't forget I can repair most damaged knives so don't throw them away.

13.01.2022 9 weeks till Xmas, but who's counting. This years gone quick for 1 where we weren't allowed to go anywhere. This week I'm in Gladstone area for the first 3 Days. Tomorrow I'll be down Tannum Sands area for a while as well as Calliope. Wednesday will be another day in Gladstone. Thursday I'm going to do a quick run to Bundaberg to get some clippers looked at and serviced. Friday is my end of the month regular run to Rockhampton with several other customers thrown in to fill the day. Next week I'll be in Rockhampton and Yeppoon areas for the week. 11.01.2022 Starting my last visits to theses towns for the year this week, Merry Christmas's and all that stuff happening from here on in. Today I'll be heading up to Rockhampton for a couple of jobs, should be home by lunch. Tomorrow I head back out to Biloela. After Biloela I'll be going to Moura, Taroom, then back to Theodore, across to Mundubbera and Gayndah then onto Monto. Should get home sometime Friday. Next week I'll be heading north to Mackay, Townsville, Cairns and Port Douglas. Call or text if you need anything sharpened. I also sell Diamond Cut Dog Grooming clipper blades.

10.01.2022 Not to often I get a fisherman’s mistake. Trying to remove fish heads with a filleting knife didn’t quite work out.

09.01.2022 Back on the highway this week. Couple of jobs in Tannum Sands tomorrow before I get the van ready to travel. Tuesday morning I'll be heading off to Biloela for my first full week on the road for the year. Once I'm done in Bilo I'll head to Moura and stay overnight. Wednesday I'll finsh what work I have and then head to Taroom. I'll double back to Theodore and then head to Mundubbera after Taroom. Thursday I'll finish Mundubbera and go to Gayndah for a while and then head to Monto for the night. Friday I'll finish Monto and head home via Biloela. The following week I'll be visiting Agnes Water, Bundaberg and Gin Gin, might even go to Mt Perry if I can contact person looking for me a while back. Hollow ground knives done at home are easy to sharpen, but are also very easy to damage in the hands of the inexperienced.
