The Hamilton Island Hilly Half falls on the Qld Long Weekend, so arrive Friday, sneak in parkrun, enjoy Trails in Motion (for free) that evening, run the half or relay Sunday morning (races for kids too), relax and recover (or head to the reef) and then do the Dent Dash; a recovery run and breakfast on the stunning championship golf course on neighbouring Dent Island come Monday morning!!

Success for the Aussies in the Mixed Relay however with Jake Birtwhistle closing the deal (again!) with great work from debutantes Luke Willian & Emma Jeffcoat supported by Ashleigh Gentle- definitely some medal aspirations for this crew come Tokyo 2020 Olympic Triathlon representative Courtney Atkinson continues to excel off-road; winning the iconic 6-Foot Track Marathon from Katoomba to Jenolan Caves! Can go!
