09.01.2022 Black Friday was on 13th January, 1939. 71 people lost their lives in Victoria's worst bushfires to that date. It has nothing to do with shopping sprees or religious holidays in the USA, and those who would seek to export their crass culture to the rest of the World should have some sensitivity to that which may already exist. We will not be entering any stores promoting "Black Friday Sales" any time soon.

09.01.2022 Another scammer to look out for; goes by the name of Peter Gunnarsson, James Pearson, David Coleman; supposedly Scottish with spoofed gmail address of the form [email protected] (numbers vary) and phone number 447042099660. Has evidently been trying to book boats and rooms all over the World for a couple of years at least and pay by credit card, with a hefty loading to pay for his airfares, which he wants remitted by bank draft to his "travel agent" (surprise surprise). Please excuse us while we roll around a bit...
