18.01.2022 Today I'm on a Mum-strike. Dared my hubby to take a week off work and take on remote learning and Mum-duties so I can catch up on the last 3 weeks of work that I've fallen behind on. Made him a coffee and wished him the best of luck for the day ahead to which he replied with a smile "I don't need it"... we'll see. Then disconnected Netflix in the lounge room that the girls were watching (so I could watch in my room) and took my coffee and toast back to bed. I'm not leavin...g my bedroom all day. #mumonstrike

11.01.2022 This gorgeous little Miss Sassy celebrated her 7th birthday iso-style today. What was going to be the "worst birthday of my life" turned in to a great day with some very exciting presents and a special visit from Mr Pro Whipp Ice Cream! Plus she had a friend over who spends Wednesday's with us during remote learning and we put the water park up, it was an action packed day with some lovely spring weather. ... Aidee just couldn't decide which was her favourite present but rates her gorgeous unicorn and rainbow #7 balloons from local Unique Party Boutique highly and is very much in love with her gorgeous fairy dress from Rainbow Princess.

02.01.2022 It's hard to believe that we were enjoying an amazing long weekend in the gorgeous Whitsundays a year ago...this was the view from our room at Club Wyndham Airlie Beach! The first of our annual Airlie Beach muMEcation was literally one of the most amazing weekends I've ever had with a truly beautiful group of ladies. This trip was so popular and enjoyable that I decided to make it an annual trip and we were in fact due to fly up again this coming Friday, but instead a...re in stage 3 lockdown restrictions! However, we will get there! As soon as borders reopen and Victorians are welcome to visit Queensland, the trip will be on again and we will enjoy a long weekend of rest, sunshine, swimming and plenty of cocktails!
