18.01.2022 Us women are programmed to feel like we have to do it all. Like we have to be everyone’s all. Like we have to solve everyone else’s problems and in some cases even take away their pain. I have never felt this more than as when I have been a mother. I have watched myself scurry around, trying to make sure everyone else was happy, to detriment of my own happiness. I have watched myself do things for my kids and my partner to help them, but truthfully I wasn’t helping them. By t...aking away their pain I was robbing them of resilience and robbing them of their wings. Because we only learn resilience when we face the hard feelings and move through the problem on our own. 17.01.2022 * WHY DO WE DISTRACT OURSELVES? * We all have ways we numb ourselves, when we ignoring the something our soul is trying to tell us. Keeping busy. Social media and phones. Mindless electronic games. Sex. Drugs. Alcohol. Eating. To name a few. ... Whatever is your numbing weapon of choice, know it’s ok to do it for a while, but when we start to use it to suppress what really needs to be addressed, we can reach a point where whatever is that wants to surface will shout louder. We cannot avoid it forever. You may be noticing your health is starting to go down the toilet. You may have noticed you are feeling more on edge than usual. So often, we think that we will spend money on ourselves when things are hunky dory. When life is going great. I’m hear to tell you it’s not the case. I know this from personal experience and I know it from watching others fall into the same trap. So often in the past I have thought I’m not ready or I need more time when it comes to coaching. The truth is, investing this money in yourself is like topping up your self worth bank. It’s letting the Universe realign to bring you what you want. More love. More life. More juiciness. More power. More unshakeable confidence. 04.01.2022 How do you want to feel gorgeous mumma? Beautiful? Alive? Juicy? Connected to your heart? And ready to take on the world? There are times in our lives when we ain’t feeling all these things, that’s for sure, and you would not be human if you had those days.... There can be times we feel bitter, flat, resentful, irritable and sad. Myself, I have spent a lot of my life putting others needs first, always wanting to fix others, and consequently ignoring my own needs in a massive way. And I still have periods I do this, because we are all HUMAN and we all have times when this side of us pops up (call it our ego or our shadow). I said yes to things when I meant no, I prioritised other people’s happiness over my own. I spent a lot of time ignoring the feelings or bitterness, anger and resentment and numbing myself. But then I learnt the other way. The way where I really felt loved and understood by myself, I really feel like I have my own back. I listen to those whispers and those messages from my body. I know when anxiety pops up it’s just trapped emotions and energy, and I’ve been ignoring myself. I trust myself more and more. I know that I’ve got this thing called life. 04.01.2022 I have decided to take a break from my business for the moment, to focus on ME. I have got caught up in old patterns of pushing myself too much, and then having to rest a lot, and I am suffering from adrenal fatigue amongst other things. Lots of lessons learnt, which I will bring back to YOU, my beautiful community, when I return. ... It’s not the end, I’m not a failure, just a human who makes mistakes. And learns from them. For now, it will be long slow walks in nature, slow days, cuddles with my family , my fur baby and hugs to myself, dancing, swims in the ocean (when I feel brave enough ) and most importantly tuning into myself. I may be called to post things, and I may not, I’m not sure. Just tuning into my feminine energies and going with the flow Love you all
