18.01.2022 Sometimes unguided spontaneous play is the best learning ...... It's very rewarding sitting and just watching play unfold and evolve .... We started with small blocks at the table which lead to the car mat and seeing what could roll down the car ramp ??? Everyone taking turns and trying something to roll , concluding the cars worked best we managed some outdoor climbing and some quiet reading ... Great day at Mumma & bubba

17.01.2022 Today is "earth day" here at Mumma & bubba we talked about earth being a planet and how we need to take care of it ...... What will you do in home environment to help take care of planet earth ???? Just like earth there is a sun n a moon and lots of stars which lead to singing Twinkle twinkle little star hahahah Anyways happy earth day . Do your bit to help

17.01.2022 Having fun in the sun exploring in the yard , today we ran n jumped n climbed and did some digging and loading the dump truck. What a busy day and lots of fun

16.01.2022 Today was very exciting , the street sweeper went past , it was loud , noisy and fun to watch , Paige was a little concerned asking "whats that noise ". We took full advantage of the sun when it did shine momentarily .... We played soccer in the yard and found some leaves that had been blown off the trees. We had lots of fun singing songs about incy wincy spider , its raining its pouring and rainbows

13.01.2022 Its raining , its pouring .... And we are helping each other do puzzles ... "Whats this ", its a dinosaur rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.. Keeping dry mostly and having fun always. That was some of our Thursday.

08.01.2022 Today we used our gross motor skills riding , jumping and climbing . We also started work on our octopus , Amelia shared with us she had been reading a book about being underwater in the octopus garden in the shade ...... Watch this space .....

08.01.2022 A lovely military man selling poppies stopped me today and asked if he could reposition mine - while doing so he told me that women should wear their poppy on their right side; the red represents the blood of all those who gave their lives, the black represents the mourning of those who didnt have their loved ones return home, and the green leaf represents the grass and crops growing and future prosperity after the war destroyed so much. The leaf should be positioned at 11 oclock to represent the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, the time that World War One formally ended. He was worried that younger generations wouldnt understand this and his generation wouldnt be around for much longer to teach them. (Copy and paste to share just like I did) we must remember those from our current wars too!
