25.01.2022 Last month, one of my customers asked if I could put his name on a patch on the front of his hat so the text didn't get lost in the pattern. I think these look great. The patch can be oval/circle or rectangle or whatever you'd prefer and also whatever colour you’d like. Thanks Mason :)
21.01.2022 I have confirmed this week that buying fabric is a whole different hobby to sewing. I wasn't going to buy any new ones....but of course, Christmas is coming! Oh!....and I happened upon a couple of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fabrics that have been a bit scarce. I'll post them when they arrive this week. Todays offerings are 2 new Christmas fabrics to add to the ones already on the site from last year. I might get a couple of new ones this week. I also bought the ever-popular dinosaur fabric but with a green background because I couldn't get the blue...but the blue came back in stock last week so now we have both. The other fabric here replaces the small poppies which I can't get any more. Still poppies but multi-coloured.
15.01.2022 I spent yesterday mucking around with the website. You can now browse just the fabrics in a category....florals, superheroes, kids stuff and 9 other categories. Hopefully, this will make it easier to find what you're looking for. I also realised that I'd never put this gorgeous fabric on the website. It's available now.

12.01.2022 4 new fabrics available. I've also, for the moment, moved all the Christmas fabrics up near the top of the list. I'm considering putting all the fabrics into categories (such as Christmas, Super Heroes, Book & Comic characters, Florals, Plain Colours, Animals.....etc) and making an extra step to go into just those fabrics. The first choice will be 'All' and will take you to the full list but if you're looking for something specific, the category option could be a better approach. Any opinions?
08.01.2022 To all my customers, followers and fans...a BIG thank you to all of you for your patience when I was swamped with orders and for all your custom and support this year. I hope Mum’s hats brought a little cheer to your lives. And thank you for your HUGE efforts and going above and beyond in what has been a far from normal working year. Please believe that you are appreciated. Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a safe, prosperous and happy 2021.

05.01.2022 Embroidery has returned! It's now $10 a hat so maybe I won't have to sit and grumble the whole time I'm embroidering. It may sound expensive but trust me, with the set up and the time I have to babysit the machine, it's a good deal. I have 4 more fabrics to go up, including 2 new Christmas fabrics. That will make 8 Christmas fabrics, but I only have enough to make 1 hat of one or two of them. I'll get them up this afternoon or tomorrow.
03.01.2022 Here are the final 3 new fabrics....plus one that was lurking and I had forgotten. In 24 hours or so I'll be putting the prices up so it might be a good day to buy.
02.01.2022 We have 4 new fabrics & the return of an old favourite. The Star Wars one pictured here has been off the shelves but it's back! Yay! These are available on the website now.
