23.01.2022 MUMMA LE'S EXPRESS This year has definitely been a challenging 1 for us. Within 4 months of opening our shop, we made the difficult decision to cease business due to the restrictions surrounding Covid. This inadvertently affected our catering side and we had many of our customers cancel their orders due to the Goverment restraints that were in place. With every day that went by, was another day of anxiously waiting to see if we have overcome this pandemic with the sta...rt of social gatherings to be permitted again. Special shout-out to our regulars who have stuck by us through these gruelling times by still placing orders just to help keep our business afloat. We still get many enquiries regarding the reopening of our shop. At this stage, with my new baby here whilst juggling 2 other kids with an abundance of catering orders on the weekend, we don’t see it likely to happen in the near future. But we will keep our options open! On some positive news though: A few months ago we purchased this trailer for the sole purpose of delivering our catering orders. It keeps the food fresh and warm with the internal oven. My husband had a better idea; Why not make a couple of mixed boxes and pies to drop it off around some work sites?! Today was our 1st officiall trial day and we had just received a phone call from one of the guys, requesting for us to permanently come there every day of the week! Thankyou everyone for all your support. We cannot honestly do it without you all. Thankyou for allowing me to love what I do!
