19.01.2022 My turn this week! Just like Mums, my job involves always looking after someone else. I'm a firm believer that one of the best ways you can look after other people is to take care of yourself. You can always do a better job when you feel good within yourself. I'm a strong advocate for Mums looking after themselves and not just in the form of massage but anything that you take pleasure from- a walk, a good book, I had a client once who said she had one night a year by herself ...in a hotel in the city and spent the day at the galleries, how wonderful is that! So I took my own advice this week when I had a client who went into labour and fill the spot with a bit of self care! 14.01.2022 I have donned this blue shirt for the final time. I had my final shift in the Victoria University Osteopathic student clinic. My next osteopathic treatment will be as a fully qualified Osteopath! This course has been such a challenging but wonderful experience and I was full of emotions walking out of the clinic for the last time! So sad to leave this wonderful community I have been a part of for the past 5 years but I'm beyond excited to never have to sit an exam or write an essay again! I will receive my registration in the next few months but until then I'm back to massaging full time, so I'm looking forward to seeing you all and sneaking my new skills into your treatments!
