24.01.2022 Mental Health We either have it or know someone who does. Some mild, and unfortunately some people some suffer daily. Before Motherhood you may have had no cares in the world and then as we know, becoming a mother changes everything.... It changes your way of thinking. The way you worry. The way you love. As you have to protect and care for another human(s). Your hormones get a shake up. Trying to transfer from maiden to mother. Im a big believer in having a mental-toolbox. Everyday can be a battle, so having these tools that you can lean on everyday for support are vital. I always want to support myself. I'm always on the lookout for new support systems. My Mental-toolbox presently is: Mediation Its a game changer. Ive been taught Vedic Meditation from @richmuir.meditation and its changed my life forever. Moving my body Moving that stagnant energy that gets stuck - you can’t move your body then be in a bad mood ! Shakti Mat from @shaktimats I lay on this spikey mat for 20 minutes every evening - the beneifits are so apparent from the first time you use it. Its has really helped with giving me a really deep sleep at night. Podcast Listening to mindful podcast, my favs @organic_olivia @yoga_girl @amymingin Supplememts Im always chopping and changing what supplments I take, currently I’m on Vitex to help with hormone balance. Spirulina for EVERYTHING. Journaling This one I've re-implemented back into my life. Writing stuff down feels good sometimes - better out than in they say. Essential Oils Never leave home without them. I wear them, diffuse them and place the essential oil in my hands and inhale deeply. Don’t suffer, find your own mental - toolbox. Fill it up with lots of goodies. Find what works, ditch what doesn’t.
