25.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone. Just a reminder that we are closed today Saturday 28th July 2018. We had some meetings to attend and we could not staff the shop. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes, however we are back to normal trading on Monday 30th July. How does everyone Feel about introducing Delicious Indian Cuisine on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights as well as the Malaysian meals on Friday and Saturday nights. Thank you

24.01.2022 Good evening everyone. We would like to apologize to Tony for the Pizza he received from us, and thank you Tony for your understanding on this as you drove quite a distance to get a Pizza from us. FYI, The base did not cook properly for him as it stayed quite moist in the middle. After tasting the bases after being cooked, it leaves a distinct unleavened, uncooked taste that lingers on on your taste buds. This was all caused by the wrong yeast being delivered and used to ma...ke our Pizza Bases tonight, they did not aerate correctly. So sorry for the inconvenience but we have pulled the Pizzas off the Menu for tonight. We envisage the Pizzas will be back on the Menu for Tuesday as per our opening schedule. 23.01.2022 Hi everyone. We have been reviewing our Takeaway and Fruit Shop over the last period and some changes will take place. You hear it here first so woohoo!! The fruit shop and meat sales at our store will now cease - it has become not viable and no more orders will be brought in from the Tablelands or other areas. So Sorry, just not enough support. We have also Closed Monday trading and will not be open. Also the lunch time trade is not supported so we have closed that as well. ...We have thought about it long and hard and are sorry to disappoint anyone. So our NEW hours of trading going forward is CLOSED Sunday and Mondays and OPEN from 3.30pm to 8.00pm Tuesday to Saturday. We look forward to seeing you come and get the best cooked FRESH home style takeaway and Aussie style Pizzas Cairns have to offer. There is some exciting changes coming in the NEW YEAR though and we will update everyone about that and what meals will be offered soon. Thank you from all the MUMMA'S Staff.

Whether it is to get a good quality meal or get some fair priced, quality fruit n veg that is primarily local, we welcome you. Time to sit and share on our FB or Instagram or other pages has been scarce so we have not shared for a period. But we are still here pumping out great food, as fresh as can be. 12.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We would like to thank you all for your patronage during these difficult times. We have had shops closing all around us and do not really know what is in store for us an Eatery/ Takeaway serving everyone. We wanted to let you all know to calm any nerves that we are staying open as long as is practical to serve you to the best of our ability. We always have health standards to keep our food as fresh and healthy so we can all enjoy some nice old takeaway style food.... Please note our CURRENT HOURS of TRADING are from 5pm til 8pm daily from Tuesday til Saturday. We have had to go through a change of hours to meet Legislative needs and not have some of our lovely customers sitting in at the Eatery. (unfortunately - sorry) Please note we can offer a drop off to your car if you feel unsafe to enter our shop and pick up. Just order your meal and call us when you have arrived at the front and we will come out to give you your meal. We have EFTPOS (preferred) and cash facilities available at your car door. We also offer pay before and can have a contactless pick up as well if preferred We do not home delivery at present but if the need arises and you feel this is what we need to do, send us a message and we will look into it and proceed as the times get more difficult. Please keep safe and well in the strange and troubling times. We are here to serve and love offering the best service we can. 03.01.2022 Hello Everyone. Just sitting here before my church meetings, reflecting on last night at MUMMA'S Takeaway. We wanted to apologize for the length of waiting to get your meals and hope they were worth the wait. We must admit we were caught out a bit as some of our Junior staff were not able to come in and Darrell and I thought we could get through it all with the Cairns festival being on. How wrong we were, we just could not keep up with all the meal requests and we apologize ...also for no Malaysian meals being available. For those that were not able to get your meal after finding out how lengthy the delay the wait would be, sorry to make you have to go to other places. Please forgive us and we will definitely staff up more to ensure everyone gets their fair share of our great food. We just wanted to let you all know we will be closed tomorrow Saturday 22nd February. We have some church meetings to attend so that puts us out of action. We just wanted to let you all know that we are supporting the "Light The World" Christmas Musical Concert at Fogarty Park on the Cairns Esplanade this Saturday 1st December 2018 starting at 7.00pm. Everyone is invited to come along to this amazing Concert, there is some fantastic singing and music to be enjoyed by the whole family. We will be assisting at the Venue and with the Clean up of the venue after the event so we will not be available at the ...Shop this Saturday and we will be closed. Back to usual business on Monday 3rd December though. We hope not to inconvenience anyone, and our wonderful food will be back available as noted on the Monday. Come along and enjoy the Concert with us. Also watch this space we have some wonderful meal choices coming soon!!
